Moisture Rich Hair Growth DIY Recipe with Fenugreek and Amla

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Yes!! Finally! Our Fenugreek DIY hair mask is here!! And back in stock at HennaSooq.com. See below for more details.
Our Organic Fenugreek Powder is a herb rich in mucilages and it is considered a natural hair-loss preventing treatment, because of its high percentages of phytoestrogens.
This Ayurvedic herb prevents and controls hair loss, promotes hair growth, excellent moisturizing and conditioning agent thanks to its high levels of mucilages, anti-inflammatory, regulates the sebum production, gives volume and porosity to hair, leaves hair shiny and silky.
Your hair will absolutely love the addition of this must have Ayurvedic herb.
This recipe can do about shoulder length hair and even up to bra strap length hair. Adjust this recipe as needed. Leftovers can be frozen and used again for another mask treatment.
Fenugreek DIY Recipe
-Use equal proportions of fenugreek and amla powder. Start with 50 grams of each.
-Add 2 tsp of aloe vera powder
Mix all your dry herbs together and then add warm to hot distilled water. Slowly a little at a time.
Then add about 2 tbsp of our Organic Amla Oil and mix well. Optional you can add about 5-10 drops of essential oils.
As you allow this to rest, maybe 20-30 minutes, you may notice it will need more water. Adjust and add more water as needed.
Once ready, apply to freshly washed or dampened hair strands. Apply from roots to tip and allow it to stay in your hair about 30-60 minutes. Low porosity hair types may need to leave it up to 2 hours and using a heat cap is recommended.
Then wash the mask out, using our CoWash helps detangle easily and get all the herbs out. You may need to do a mermaid soak. If this is still hard to get out, which is mainly due to the fenugreek, please strain your paste through a nylon stocking before applying to your hair. I'll create a video on this soon but it's really easy and makes all herbal recipes super smooth and without lumps.
Then you may moisturize, dry and style as usual.

I restarted my hair growth journey a year ago and my hair is the healthiest it has ever been. I have had long hair before, but never had such full healthy hair as I have now. My hair is growing like crazy; it went from shoulder length to two inches below my bra strap in only one year, I gained over 10 inches. My hair texture is not 100% natural, I Texlax my new growth with a no-mix relaxer every 16 weeks. I always under process my hair, I do not want straight hair, I just want my hair more manageable. This mask is very healthy for my hair; however, it doesn’t leave my hair silky soft like my deep conditioner does. So, I did this mask after my touch up for added nutrient and strength and then used my deep conditioner for the silky soft feel I love. Also, next time I use this mask I will mix it with a hand mixer to get out all the lumps.

OMG!!! I am elated that you now carry fenugreek.😍 It’s one of my favorite herbs to use. I use it all the time. I use it in making my leave-in herbal tea; infused in oil with other herbs; and added to every deep conditioning concoctions I use on wash day. You’re absolutely right about Ayurvedic haircare being very cost effective. I usually make a large batch and freeze the remainder into serving sizes. So on wash day, I just defrost and use. Nothing is ever waisted.♥️🌺

I mix fenugreek & amla with black cumin seed oil, liquid lecithin and a little water has revealed a curl pattern I never knew I had! Thanks! BTW also a big fan of fresh tamarind and tamarind paste. By chance have you ever tried using less oil or even a handheld 🚿 shower head faucet to have the water pressure to help wash off (I guess kinda like a power wash 😅). I really don’t like the remnants in the hair after washing it out but also the blow dryer helps a lot but don’t add too much oil before blowing out hair or they get ‘trapped’ 😂

  • @lp8598

Hey guys! So happy to have found this channel. My ayurvedic journey has just begun. Question: So I bought the fenugreek seeds, soaked them overnight then blended them to make a hair mask. I overestimated the amount needed and now have a full batch of fenugreek paste in the fridge. How long can you keep this in the fridge for? Is it more beneficial just to use the liquid from the soaked fenugreek seeds or is it the same benefit to blend it out to use in other hair masks?

  • @jordgubbe9187

    @jordgubbe9187

If you have a freezer, you should put it in there so it will keep longer. You should use everything that you got from the fenugreek. Both the liquid and paste are beneficial.

My hair is halfway down my back to my bra, but I would not make this much. I plan to cut this recipe in half. I am sure that will be enough for hair that comes down to bra. I will try it and leave it on several hours.

Honestly 100 grams is for shoulder length hair. You can try to do half and stretch it but it won't be as potent when stretched. Hope you really like the mask. If you by chance ever have leftovers you can always freeze for next time too. Even henna hair color. Excluding indigo and moroccan henna.
