3 Beginner's Recipes for Hair Strengthening and Cleansing using Sukesh Ayurveda

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Are you ready for a super easy DIY Ayurvedic healthy hair care recipe that only takes 15 minutes to make? Grab your package of Sukesh Ayurveda, infused with 8 strengthening and cleansing herbs, your bowls, mixing spoons and 1 of these 3 amazing ingredients to give your hair some extra TLC.
You can do each of these masks every 1-2 weeks.
Since 2005, I've been bringing you the easiest yet most effective Ayurvedic hair treatments (and henna hair color) for those doing their own hair at home and for professionals in the salon, through our brand Henna Sooq. Herbs will hands down be the most effective way to treat your hair because they are 100% concentrated. Mixing herbs with warm to hot water is the most effective way to get full benefits.
Sometimes your hair needs more moisture so doing a treatment with hair butters, coconut milk, honey, yoghurt and hair oils is also highly recommended. You can rotate a water based infused mask with a deeper conditioning every other week. It's okay to take small steps. Just take 1 treatment and 1 herb at a time. You can using our Ayurvedic Hair Journal, keep track of what's working and what's not:
hennasooq.com/henna-and-ayurv...
In this video you can find out @5:55 find out all about each of the 8 Ayurvedic herbs found in Sukesh Ayurveda.
@8:00 watch how I mix in warm to hot distilled water. I also added some Organic Amla oil for added moisture. You can add any moisturizing hair oil and essential oils your hair loves or new ones you may want to try.
You can also freeze all leftovers of your recipe in a freezer bag for up to 12 months. Make sure to mark your bags with what the contents are.
@11:30 I add in the coconut milk to the Sukesh Ayurveda.
@13:45 you can add full fat yoghurt as your third recipe choice.
Which recipe did your hair love the most?

    I have used it twice -- once with water and the second time with an herbal tea and oils and each time as a cleanser. I will be making gloss bars with it this week and may try using coconut milk -- thanks for the tip😉.

    Sukesh has been my favorite since 2012. I stopped using it a few years ago, bad idea. I now am back using it and my hair/scalp are happy.

    You can tell by the 3 colors that the water mixture is the most potent but most drying mask. And the yogurt mixture is the least potent for color, but the most moisturizing mask.

    I bought the Greek yogurt for the hair treatment.... but then I ate it. So never got a chance to. So, I guess I'll try the coconut milk.

    I have tried the coconut milk and my hair loved it, I'm one of the ones that can not tolerate the coconut oil though. I've also tried my mask with goat's milk last week and it was amazing. Im thinking of trying different fruit juices/veggies fresh-squeezed next time

    Loved the video and the options r on use with this treatment. Definitely will try this out soon as my scalp seems to be on a constant itch and a tear with me these days. But on a funny note, when you said, "Come a little closer," my mind went to singing an old deodorant commercial jingle for Arid Extra Dry. Definitely made my morning. 👍👍😂😂😂😂❤

    Can I make a tea with the Sukesh Ayurveda? (Mix a Tablespoon with hot water). I'm thinking I'd use it on my scalp and possibly the length of my hair a few times a week for hair shedding issues (as this would be much easier for me then making mask). Thank you!

    Can I add your fenugreek powder to this? If so how much do you recommend ?

  • @Epicurious_Me

    @Epicurious_Me

    3 жыл бұрын

    Mimi A yes you can..I would add no more than 1/2 - 1 tsp. Since his product is already super strengthening, I usually add marshmallow and aloe powder for add slip. You can mic any Ayurvedic powder. But remember fenugreek is also strengthening like the contents in her product. So you might need to do a deep moisturizing conditioner afterwards. I usually soak 2 tbps of fenugreek seeds in distilled water overnight..strain it into a spray bottle and us it as a hair tonic between washes.

  • @Epicurious_Me

    @Epicurious_Me

    Mimi A I would suggest 1/2 - 1 tsp. I’ve been using this for the past 3 years.

  • @os4305

    @os4305

    8 ай бұрын

    Cassia hasn’t been known to loosen the curl pattern. If you’re concerned with the possibility of loosening your curl pattern, Henna is the plant that would be your concern. However, with Henna, when mixing, to keep your curl pattern intact, you could always add Zizyphus or Amla to your mixture.

    As the herbs are strengthening , you need to follow up with a deep conditioner to balance it out. Hennasooq also recommends adding aloe Vera powder.
