Im guessing hes newer to Yugioh as a whole with and has some knowledge of Duel Links? Pretty spot on with his assessments as far as im concerned, has a cool vibe too ill have to check him out he seems pretty cool. The funny part to me is this one of the only ways to even talk about Maxx C without toxicity emerging is to talk to someone that doesnt really know much about. Whenever i want playful chaos I just bring up Maxx C and walk away, its like farting in a crowded elevator right before you get off on your floor.

At least he knows that cards which gives u a card advantage over ur opponent are good. Maxx C was only bad in controll based formats like the Monarch format So thats a good point for keeping in mind while judging about certain cards

The Yata is a legend. Taking it out of the ban list would only hurt it's mith status.

I like Maxx C in MD because it lets me have some movement on my side of the board to look at while I wait for my opponent to finish their 5 minute combo of summoning through their entire deck 🙃

If I remember correctly Azathot was actually off the bad list pretty long with the phantom knight rank-up spell being on it instead, because it was a quick play spell that allowed you to summon azathot during your opponents turn, right before new phantom knight sport came out they changed it though, banning ads and putting the rank-up to 3 Edit: oh he said that too

Magic cylender can actually end games early and we have seen some decks wi. Tourneys before cause it I'd say solid 2/5 where as Yata is 0, if your in a position where you can yata lock, you could win with anything in its place

Do y'all think that Azathot could be unbanned with an errata that says that "Your opponent can't activate monster effects on the field for the rest of the turn?" That way it doesn't stop hand traps, and since the PK rank up spell is banned, it's not like you can stop your opponents effects outside of your own turn

Should thrown in some decent cards that just don't see play like witch's strike or something or something that seems good but has 1 crucial flaw (e.g broken eff but hard summoning condition) , doubt he'd be familiar with something like that. Towers would be a good shout, I imagine towers would seem broken, because that's exactly what it used to be

Kirin could come back with an errata that says "main monster zone" instead of monster zone.

Defensive burn decks are really the only ones that could effectively use Magic Cylinder.

Cylnder used to be more impactful circa 2003-2007 when the game was more simplified. Chaos decks pretty much had like 5 staple trap cards and cylinder was typically 1 of them.

Magic cylinder can come in clutch since alot of cards now days add attacks of xyz or other monsters, and with now days where hardly no one runs back row removers it rarely gets destroyed

Their description of Card Trader make it sound fine, they didn't even mention its massive downside. When it shuffles the card, it can be negated or destroyed, and you don't get the card.

WOW he knows a lot more than I expected

Red eyes dark dragoon can be destroyed by battle. He is unaffected by card affects true, but he's not indestructible. I've actually had my dragoon destroyed by blue eyes chaos max, who is also unaffected by card effects.

Around the 9-10 minute mark the music was a bit too loud. Great clip though!

Bit late here but Yata was banned in the March ban list in 2004, so at the time of recording it would have been 16 years, 17 now. I only know it was that long ago because I got Yata locked ONCE (not even the traditional CED lock, I used my CED effect, my opponent was playing a spirit deck and just top decked Yata... was very unlucky and scarred me for life lol)

I think the only times Yata-garasu is only somewhat decent is when your opponent either A) get unlucky that all they had in their hands are either trap cards or spell cards that won't interrupt your summons, B) break through your opponent defenses while they only have a hi-level monster card which they need to draw a card or two for a tribute or C) your opponent don't have any cards on their hands at all which all those 3 scenarios would be rare moments since from what I see based from the Yata's effect alone it is more used for controlling your opponent's movement by prevent them to summon a monster which is hard to get done due to how rare it would be.
