മോഹൻ സിതാര യുടെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ കഴിവായി തോന്നിയിട്ടുള്ളത് സിറ്റുവേഷൻ നു ഏറ്റവും ചേരുന്ന പാട്ടുകൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന ഒരു ആൾ ആയിട്ടാണ്. ഏതു മോഡ് പാട്ടും വഴങ്ങുന്ന ഒരു കമ്പോസർ. ജോക്കർ എന്ന സിനിമയിലെ പാട്ടുകളുടെ ഓർക്കസ്ട്ര ശരിക്കും സര്ക്കസ് മ്യൂസിക് പോലെ തന്നെ തോന്നും. അതുപോലെ. അതുപോലെ ദീപസ്തസംഭം സിനിമയിലെ " പ്രണയ കഥ പാടി വന്നു" എന്നൊരു പാട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇന്നത്തെ അടിപൊളി പാട്ടിന്റെയൊക്കെ മേലെ നിൽക്കും അതും. ആ സിനിമയിലെ മറ്റു പാട്ടുകൾ എല്ലാം സൂപ്പർ ഹിറ്റ് ആയതിനാലും, പാട്ടു മൊത്തം സിനിമ യിൽ ഇല്ലാത്തതുകൊണ്ടും ഇത് അങ്ങനെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെറ്റില്ല. മുദ്ര എന്ന സിനിമയിലെ "വാനിടവും" എന്ന പാട്ടും അധികം ആൾക്കാർക്കും അറിയാത്ത ഒന്നാണ് ഇദ്ദേഹം ചെയ്ത ബാക്ക്ഗ്രൗണ്ട് സ്കോർ ഇൽ എനിക്ക് ഏറ്റവും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടത് അയലത്തെ അദ്ദേഹം സിനിമയിലെ സ്കോർ ആണ്. നമ്മൾ അലിഞ്ഞു പോകുന്ന തരം ഒരു മ്യൂസിക് ആണ് അത്.

But oru suggestion undu. A bit more bgm play cheyyam. Pettannu nilkkunna oru feel undu ippo. If time permits please consider this. Story part of film parayuunathu kurakkam because we know the movie. Bgm varunna emotions part definitely parayam. Anyway a very good attempt. Marannu poya orupadu bgm ormappeduthiyathinu.....

Thanks for the feedback.... The problem with bgm length is, u can't play it more than 5sec , or u will be restricted to put the video bcoz of copyright issues... I really wanted to play the bgm in its entirety.... But no way.... The context of the bgm is given to get the idea about the situation in the movie... Bcoz at least some of the viewers are not familiar with it.... Thanks .. ☺

Good job! ....He did one BGM for a serial which was showed in Doordarshan in 90's...acted by BijuMenon and Sudheesh who were played thieves role. They tried to stole an idol from a temple...vague memory but still I remember the BGM. Those days the quality of that BGM was amazing....I am not able to find it now..If you can please share the link.

ചാണക്യൻ പോലെ കിടിലൻ ടൈറ്റിൽ music ചെയ്ത ഒരു ഫിലിം ആയിരുന്നു കറൻസി. സിനിമ വിജയിക്കാത്ത കാരണം അധികം ആരും പറഞ്ഞു കേൾക്കാനും സാധ്യത ഇല്ല. പക്ഷേ പണ്ട് എപ്പോഴോ സൂര്യ ടീവീ യിൽ ഉച്ചക്ക് ആ പടം വന്നപ്പോൾ ആ ടൈറ്റിൽ സ്കോർ കേട്ട് ശെരിക്കും ത്രില്ലടിച്ചു 🔥🥰

Mohan Sithara and add SP Venkatesh too, both are so much criminally underrated Musicians ! Have always cherished their Music ❤❤❤❤

Hi Could you analyse one of his songs from Thanmathra.."Mele Vellithingal"...I feel there is something special with this song..Not the pattern which we heard a lot before.. It had a pain of impending tragedy..but placed in a very happy situation in the film.. Many nuances like the female humming which comes as an interlude, "madhuranombaramayi njan", song orchestration were creating an emotion of pain and melancholy which was not experienced before with this severity 😃 Another one in similar pattern..here it's not the pain..but an impending danger..but placed in a happy situation is "Mathimukhi malathi" by Ouseppachan in Vazhunnor..creates an environment of mystery and conspiracy..Srinivas voice too plays a key role here I feel.. Could you analyse similar ones.. "Songs placed in a different mood in a film but evokes a mix of different emotions for a reason"
