This Sheikh is on the right path In Sha Allah as he follows the Quran, the Sunnah and has the understanding of the first three generations. May Allah bless the truthful Mujahideen as they sacrifice there lives to defend Islam and spread the glory of Allah.

My homeland is Afghanistan and I know the Mujahideen are those that defeated the Russians in their invasion from 1979-1989. The group is called Hezbi Islami. May Allah bless them. There are also other groups in Pakistan such as Jamma Islami and Ahul Hadeeths who call for the truth and want to implement the Sharia in that country.

@Quran Meaning Translated - English Only It is wrong to call Erdogen a Murtadd as he is a Muslim. In Turkey the Nation has a lot of horrible secular minds due to Ataturks regime. And because of this it became more difficult to implement the Shariah. I do not know too much about Erdogen and his politics, but it is his responsiblity as Turkeys leader to work on implementing the Sharia. And Hezbi Islami do not just call for Shariah. In 1979-1989 they fought against the invading Russians and defeated them. They call for justice and peace. As for the hadith I would have to ask the scholars who they are.

@@bilals1279 Assalamu Alaikum brother. I'm from outside Afghanistan and ideologically lean towards what you would call there to be Hezb e Islami. But I've certain questions. Is Hekmatyar really that bad as he's potrayed by some "Butcher of Kabul"? Although i admire him. In the mix of Taliban, Masoud, Rabbani who were on truth? Or was it like everyone was right and wrong to a degree.. why is it that Islamists went against each other, was it because of tribalism or anything else?

I was so scared in the beginning, I thought this was an attack on sh Assim.

Sheikh Assim is such a charismatic brother, may Allah swt keep him protected and keep his knowledge on the straight path...but even then, do not rely on him solely. Do not rely on ANYONE solely. Rely on Quran and Sunnah. Let's all pray for each other. Pray we get to Jannah and we meet up with our loved ones...pray..and hold on His rope...

Masha'allah well said, brother. I never solely rely on any 1 sheik because everyone except the prophet (saw) makes mistakes.

Look man I am an average muslim! I'm just trying to do my best to follow my religion even though I was born in Australia. I found Sheik Assim's questions video answer a lot of questions I had been struggling with. From those video his advice was when you learn knowledge stick to a mathab then move on to grow your knowledge on quran and Sunna. He then says if you find your mathab's opinion is differing from an authentic hadith stick to quran and sunna. Abu Hanifa said himself, if you find an authentic hadith from the prophet and my opinion goes against it. Then throw my opinion to the wall. So with everything I will research and do my best to try and follow what pleases God. In the end these difference of opinion to me never spark hatred or anger if others do things differently as long as they muslim.

6:34 just because an issue is considered from fiqh doesn't mean say anything and it's okay. For example, the 5 prayers being Fardh is a Fiqh issue, and who says otherwise is kafir. When we come to music, the Salaf said that it plants Nifaq in the heart, Imam Malik said that the Fussaq are the ones who do it and Ibn Taymiyyah speaks so much about the fact that not any dispute is accepted and no one is allowed to leave the Quran and Sunnah for any other person's opinion.

The use of Islamic/Arabic terminology doesn't mean someone is advancing in deen. That's a false analogy.

The religion will be preserved in unity of the ummah: Al-Jama'ah. In them they acknowledge weaknesses, mistakes, ignorance, so that they can strengthen, correct, and teach each other in the best way and in patience. Effort to make exclusive group of "righteous people" which claim to have "the truest manhaj" is deemed to divide on it self.

I don't agree with everything Sheikh Assim says: specially he said that eating meat in all Christian countries are permissible. I tried to clarify to him that his knowledge is incorrect about meat in all Christians countries as he presumed that all Christians still use ritual slaughter method like Jews. I hope he gets it and change what he said mistakenly
