:) It is a very common question from most of the beginners.. But the thing is, it is very difficult to apply any kind of math to it.. Some spend hardly 15 mins a day and get really good at it in a couple of months and some spend hours daily and still struggle with it even after years.. what really matters is how bad you want to learn it.. if you really have your heart in it, you wont care about how long it is going to take.. you'll just practice and practice and you won't even realize how quick you learn.. but if you still want a reference to keep yourself motivated, I remember when I started learning, I was able to play few melodies after a couple of weeks of practice.. :)
