I am Japanese. There was a very big earthquake that year. And my beloved had cancer. It was a very, very dark and hopeless year. I hated my life. This song is very good. This song was the source of overcoming despair. Whenever I went to visit her in the hospital, I always listened to this song. In deep despair.

Post-Rock is purely a Re-Evolution of Modern Music. Simply take us back to the human greatness achieved in Classical Music composers. We can be captured again in the moods and emotions of our present time. Basically we take conscience that there is nothing more sacred than perturbation of the atmospheric pressure, is the air that surrounds us and so we breath... Musik.

I remember coming across this video in 2013 when I was living and teaching in South Korea. I had heard of Mogwai, but this was my gateway to their music. I listened to this song often on long subway rides. 12:20 hits and it’s like a montage of all the beautiful and difficult moments of your life should be playing. This song really takes you through your own personal past, present and future. Wonderful song and still my favorite Mogwai track.

I look at pictures of my old childhood home, to this song. And I look at it on recent realtor sites. How it's changed. How some parts are barely recognizable. Its all been renovated, repainted and all traces of my childhood has been scrubbed from the walls and sterilized into "modern decor". I see flashes of my old toddler photos on the white-washed walls. All the blurry warmth of childhood has been removed, and all that stands is a dwindling spark in my memory.

"try listening to spongle" then your mind will be changed because "spongles music is better" is just so lame and patronising. Anyone ever have a melody or piece of music that just, for some reason or another, speaks to your soul? Like, this isn't the most complex piece, or the most original, or most interesting, or whatever. But this piece, specifically the melody at the beginning and end, makes me feel at home. Whenever I just don't know what to do with myself I just put this on repeat. Even got it tattooed behind my ear. It's weird, but I find it comforting.

Yet another of the many reasons why Mogwai should join Tool and Rush as one of the greatest bands in music history - with a 20 year career. Stuart, please give us one more album that surpasses the genius of what you have already laid down. I'm sorry to vent. My cat just died, it's 3AM and I got nowhere to burry him right now, we're outside, he's on his comfy bed and I'm smoking my last ever pack of cigarettes. He was attacked by dogs and died in my arms which are all bitten and bruised from wrestling him away from them. He's craddled with his favourite cheese and the snacks I didn't have the opportunity to feed him. If he goes to somewhere eternal, maybe the snacks will be eternal there as well. To a future with you that I'll never be able to have a memory of, I'm sorry I couldn't do more

never be sorry to vent. someone will usually see it and it help them or you. this hits me hard because of the way i have lost a kitty years ago. the thoughts of my poor gentle giant boy going out like that still haunt me. they broke in through my porch and caught him hiding under the bed. he thought he was safe. i wasn't there and he must have been so terrified and confused. i'd just bought him a new collar and a toy. and treats for him and his brother. that awful feeling of them never being enjoyed hangs around every time a cat dies and makes me sad and anxious whenever i buy something for my lil guys and fawn over how happy they'll be. i just say this feeling is crushing and makes me afraid every time i kiss them or say goodbye when i leave. you're feeling it the way i do with that disbelief and pity and sadness when one passes away violently, leaving happy memories unmade, even for all of the ones you had together. goodnight to your sweet kitty. law enforcement and AC did nothing to help us. there are problem dogs in our neighborhood again who follow kitties home and have also broken into my apartment and hurt one of my boys terribly. he lived but-- twice now?? it's insane. this time the authorities are more helpful and taking it seriously. i hope you can find some kind of justice even if it only helps to know you might spare another family a tragedy to their pets or children.

Echelonxc does sound alot like music that would be used in the metro series. sound of the music really matches in with i guess you can say the depressive, and destructive setting. that was the most immersive game that i have ever played, sad there arent many like it.

I have a feeling that I will be leaving this world soon, I think everything is lining up for to happen. My body begins to transform, it begins to feel what my inner being feels, PAIN. The nights are terrible. I feel that little by little I am fading, that I disappear from this world. Nothing comforts me anymore, my chest hurts and I don't know why, maybe it's a sign.

I remember discover this son on 2012 and then thought the new elected president was a terrible choice. Then on 2018 I saw that we gain 6 years of "peace" just to loss everything until 2024. And then I saw, there's no worse enemy, that the one inside each of us. That's the Forgotten Future, each day we got worse and worse because we refuse to take responsibility of our acts and blame others but nothing working anymore.
