Mogul Gifts His Mansion To Stranger |
Have you ever responded with kindness to a bad deed?
While John was enjoying his meal at a restaurant terrace, a homeless guy came up to him and spat on his plate. He told John to give him the food since he won’t be eating it now. But he continued with his lunch as if nothing happened. He smiled at the vagrant and offered to join him.
Later, John even asked the guy if he wanted to live in his lavish mansion. Of course, he agreed. But why was John doing all this?

This was a brilliant script that is worthy of a Serling award. It is an actual award for stories that have a moral message and yet are of the unusual and macabre nature, like the scripts of Rod Sterling author and producer of the original Twilight Zone. The moral is that we have to have rules and laws, because that is what sets us apart from the beasts and animals. This script was brought life by excellent casting of Sergey Denga as the wealthy mogul. It was great to once again see Vadia Rotor on the screen as the homeless friend of the main homeless man. I have no idea who played that main role, but Sergey Denga carried the ball from the first play to where he carried the story over the goal line. This was excellently directed and captured the spirit and essence of Rod Serling. Thank you DramatizeMe for and excellent episode, that could have been a Special. Bravo!

@@DramatizeMe what touched me the most is the end of course . The realisation that greed and selfishness can bring you down in the worst possible way. And then there is no way back! And that’s sad!
The motto in this story: repel evil with good and acts of kindness. To even those who do bad things to you. For this reflects more on you (as you're kind), and the person being evil is evil. How you treat others is a reflection of you as a person. Not them. Excellent video again DramatizeMe. ❤

Thank you so much for summarizing the episode. Point is well taken.
Mr. Garry,I kinda admire the posture and body language of the one in a role of millionaire and many times of his role. This one, at first I just thought when he said "well done" with a smirk on his face suggested that he was fine with the way the homeless guy throw himself a party and destroy the properties. All of a sudden, when he admitted to the homeless guy that he felt so annoying. He gave such a serious tone and his emotion toward the man becomes much stricter and stronger. He is such a wonderful actor in many episodes.
To understand this episode, is to understand why I support this channel. It is rooted in the social and philosophical implications of this episode, and it immediately brought to mind my roommate, during my first year in college in the dorms. He was taking a social anthropology class and an ethic-logic class and explained to me the significance of arbitrary laws. The snow globe law would seem to quailify as an arbitrary law. If you are alive and have everything you need to live at your finger tips you are in virtual paradise. You might have to take what you want to subsist, but existing without morals, that is not a problem. In such an existance, you are just marking time and there us no society and you will stagnate. That is why the Cro-Magnom went extinct. As long as their bellies were full and they could stay in one place life was good. But Homo sapiens needed more and they liked to travel and build huts, which turned into villages. To feed their villages, they needed to learn to cultivate food and that is the basis of civilization to a point. But to separate man from the animals, man needed laws and taboos. For a human to be living in Polynesia, that is the ultimate in hunter-gatherer life. You can sleep all day and only get up to pick fruit from the nearest tree. So to give life meaning the Polynesians started draconian arbitrary taboos that if you violated them you would be killed or you and your descendents ever after would be slaves. There was even a ST tng episode about this. The bottom line is that without taboos, life would have no meaning. Conversely, without taboos, you do not have the makings of laws, and without laws you do not have cooperation. Without cooperation, you do not have civilization and it cities. That is why this channel is so important in that its dramatic art paints for us illustrations of life lessons. That is what makes this channel great and I maintain that this channel's ulitimate aspiration is to improve the human condition and the human way of life, which we call society.

Great job coming up with this story, reminding us not to let our fortunes get in to our heads that we lose ourselves, our morality! It also serves as a reminder that not all who are doing badly in life deserves a 2nd chance, like Steven here...If I were the rich man,I would have disposed off the food, and fight hard to defend myself...Don't get me wrong,I am in for helping the poor,as I myself grew up in poverty,so I know what's it like to live in 1...Would have been better,at least for me,if the rich person called the cops for destruction of property...Trespassing don't count since he allowed Steven in...
0:26 @DramatizeMe, you should give Sergey Denga a big bonus because he was almost crying eating the spitted foods
U see why some people never help other because of this man he doesn't appriciate what man gave him
He was technically testing him and simultaneously giving him a 2nd chance at life, all he had to do was follow 1 damn simple instruction, which he failed, not to mention the way he lived his life after all the gifts given to him.

When life gifts you an opportunity, don't stuff it up, especially if one rule is given but you don't follow it just because you are ignorant and want to impress friends. Moral of the story, you don't have to impress friends to be cool.
John is a rich mogul who barely knew this homeless man and still treated him like a person, than a nuisance. John wasn't even annoyed Steven wanted some of the finest things to get some money, revealing the jet-setting lifestyle he's been doing!!! Steven even let his new friends do a party as he basically lived there, but the loud music and knife destroyed the most expensive items!!! John did remind Steven not touch it, he (Steven) wanted to resist but peer pressure made him destroy everything!! Now, he was being scolded by a gentle, understanding soul who did some research on him!!! He is now being kicked out back to the curb with no chance for second chance!!!! That, Dramatizers , is why we vet those homeless people before letting them in!!! Don't be a Steven!!!
