Modular Synth as Field Recorder (Instruo Arbhar)
Ойын-сауық
My wife Hannah filmed my friend Jenny and I at Alki Beach in West Seattle. I used the external mic of the @instruo Arbhar to get the environment sounds into the synths.
4ms Ensemble Oscillator is providing the musical aspect.
More to come :)

That’s amazing. Wish you can do more of this, personally can’t wait for my Arbhar to arrive.

I use a Max Oak USB battery to power the rig!

@@PodularModcast Awesome, forhow long can it keep your rig powered? I'm tempted to buy one. The 36000mAh should be good

That mom @2:39 wondering what the heck that thing is with the suitcase handle.
The only thing that would have made this better is if you were walking around in a Men in Black suit.

Hi !! Thanks so much for this upload ! I'm looking to put together a similar set using different microphones to do live field recordings and be able to process it granularly. I am interested in it being a minimalist set so I was thinking of a mutable instruments Beads module and an in / out module but now that I saw your video I am hesitating with the Arbhar! Do you think it is better than the Beads? Thanks !!!

I've never used Beads, so I am not sure!
What case have you got there?

@@PodularModcast ah yes of course thanks. I’m venturing out into the field with my modular and looking at light options. I really enjoy your podcast and work!
Brave man. Thousands of dollars could've been destroyed in one second. Sheesh. Just use a zoom recorder or something.
