    That 2nd half of Daniel Miller’s set reminded me of Mexican prehispanic music, I could almost see Papantla flyers. Beautiful work.

    The AE modular system by Tangible Waves is amazing! Its a much smaller form factor but can be integrated into Euro Rack at a later stage.

    Try a Behringer Neutron. Semi modular. You’ll soon learn what you like, dislike and need to add to make a full modular system with minimal outlay. It has envelopes, lfo, 2 oscillators, sample and hold, distortion and delay. You’ll not find a more economical way to start.

    I would recommend to not buy anything until you know what exactly it is you need in terms of modules. You could start with vcvrack.com to find out.

  • @floflo17770

    @floflo17770

    I think it's some kind of hat sound (808 style) through an echo unit, which then goes through the same heavy distorsion as the kick.

    @@passwortvergessen6855 The whole box ? This is called a modular synthesizer, it's actually a bunch of individual "modules" from various manufacturers, that you can set up the way you want. Then you plug some bunch of cables giving this "spaghetti" look. So actually it is hard to tell what exactly makes this sound !

    @@floflo17770 yeah i'm well aware of what a module is. but the machine in front of him with the wood-looking sides and the white flashing lights is the machine which controlls these click sounds. right? and i want to know what this is. thank you anyway for replying.
