Loving that you’re sharing some of the remainder of your days off with us. Those slow days at work go even slower when you are looking forward to time off! I think you should take what time you have left investing in more paint implements. DQ for spoons and you know if you order take out Chinese you usually get forks and sometimes a knife. You could share your knowledge in how to use the full gamut of plastic ware. 😆Enjoy the rest of your time!

Barb Schmitt that sounds like a great idea! It's like 2 birds with one stone.. I don't have to cook or do the dishes while I shop for utensils.. Perfect! Lol. I seldom cook anymore, if I can't do it in my Ninja Foodie or with My George Forman grill I don't cook it. 🤔 Yet another joy of being single. Cindy

@@acrylicpouringwithcindyvan9173 I do know how to keep a kitchen clean with takeout. I also know how to ignore a dirty one if I don’t feel like taking care of it till the next day. Luckily my husband is good at indulging me with either option. If this was your last day off, hope it was a good one! Hope your week, whatever that looks like, goes quickly! Barb

Thank you Agnes. You are correct, life has become very challenging for most of us. Few are thriving, most are just surviving, living paycheck to paycheck. I see more & more elderly people in my neighborhood collecting pop bottles for refunds. They are not transients, they are middle class seniors who worked their entire life and their pensions just don't make it. Where are you located? I am in Victoria B.C.. I think we are the second most expensive city on Canada. It's horrible. I too paint for my own enjoyment, I sell a few pieces here and there and with effort I could possibly sell more but then it becomes work and looses it's joy. Creativity is my therapist and brings me great joy... most of the time. 😉. Cindy

Hi Clare, as for finishing my tiles I resin the tops, copper foil or paint the edges.. (once scraped of drippy paint)... Once that step is complete I adhere a d ring style hanger to the back and cover the entire back felt to protect the walls. That's about it. Cindy

What dose min wax wood do for paintings please

Hi Barbara, the minwax wood conditioner is the oil additive when using US floetrol for cell mix. Similar to the Aussie floeteol it creates cells and lacing when it is blown or swiped over our acrylic colors. It seems to be as close as it gets to replicate the Aussie magic. Cindy

Hi Chrystelle, when using the US floetrol for cell mix I do a ratio of 3 tbsp floetrol 1 tbsp Amsrerdam white or black paint, 1 tbsp Elmer's glue all. Mix well. Once mixed I add 1/2 tsp of minwax wood conditioner. It will get a bit thicker so you will need to add water until you reach your desired consistency. Cindy
