    It's a shame they quit selling the D22 in the U.S. in 2004. Absolutely love this model. I've had 2 of them. Both 2000 4x4 Models. One KC and the other CC i have now with 3'' BL and 1.5'' SL with only 105k on it as of now. The Crew Cab Short Beds are a bad ass looking truck. These trucks will run a 33'' Tire with just a 3'' Body Lift. I ran 285/75/R16's for 10 years with 3'' body lift only.

    interesting fact on the achilies xmt muddies, mine are 265/70/r17, on a d40, awesomesome in mudd, not that moisy at all when they are new. I agree witht the tyre pressures, that u can lower them a heck of a lot with out side wall bulg, but.. once I did do a bit of rock work the smell of the rubber from wheels spinning, was that distinct cheap rubber smell, like the smell of retread type rubber..

    Hey Ronny! Awesome Videos, You've got me hooked :) I am looking into a Nissan Navarra, However, I am now hesitant. By the looks of things, Ute's Have their downsides when touring but those downsides are not fully explained, To further elaborate on my confusion, do you reckon that you could bring out a video that explains the differences between UTE's and full 4WD like Nissan Patrols and those other big dogs. Cheers!

    there's a toe in problem under acceleration its due to Nissan engineers fucking up. its a dogbone shaped center link that allows a lifted Nissan tie rod angles to flex the centerlink up while under acceleration in 4wd. The way i fixed this problem is doing a 2wd centerlink conversion, using the 2wd center link, 2wd inner tie rods, 4wd inner tie rods, and 4wd adjusting sleeves. i machined the adjusting sleeves out to 18mm 1.5 pitch right handed threads to accept the 2wd inner tie rods. very easy mod took about 2 hours for me and fixed the toe in problem under acceleration. hope you read this and use it!! it fixed the ifs lift problem ezpz!!

    Hi Ronny, Great videos. I’ve learned a ton from them. Here in the States we have an SUV version of the Navarra called the Xterra. Two generations, just like the Navarra. I love my Xterra. Great off-road vehicle here in the land of jeeps. I love seeing the trucks you have in Australia that we don’t have in the States like the Patrol, the Hilux and the Holdens. Maybe your Australian fans would like to see some vehicles we have here that you don’t get in Australia. Here’s a taste kzread.info/dash/bejne/oqejzNhsabO_YbQ.html Mike

  • @Ronny_Dahl

    @Ronny_Dahl

    9 жыл бұрын

    Shane, with IFS vehicles you can only lift them so high before you put too much stress on the CV's as the angles will be very high, this is where a body lift can help get a bit more clearance for bigger Tyres and general ground clearance to help prevent body damage.
