The Jezebel Spirit was straight up speaking through Melanie. You can correct someone without judgement or anger. Going to Christian schools and church doesn’t make you better than somebody else. You can still have evil spirits invited into your space. Melanie was not just full on attacking Esther but twisting scripture. The Bible does not say “women should listen to men” it says to husbands must submit to their HUSBANDS ( Ephesians 2:20 -23). It sounds like there’s an anger spirit that’s mad at God and is projecting on that poor girl. We need to pray that Mel can have them spirits out of her heart.

Rhajney Stephenson, I was very disappointed that he didn’t immediately stop Melanie when she started demeaning and hustle to young lady as if though she was her mom or even friend. It’s like they were both out there trying to bully her into submission to the things they probably aren’t even walking out in their own lives so they can feel good about their lives. I was also disappointed at some of the other ladies for not jumping in and calling her or both of them out. We as women need to learn how to stand for one another when we clearly see one being disrespected and degraded. After talking to someone like that, what makes you think they are going to want to listen to anything that comes out of your foul mouth and let alone respect you. The young lady was way more mature, respectful, and acted like the adult in the whole situation. She could have acted like her or even worse for being called all those names, but she didn’t. I have so much more to say about this, but will stop here.

One thing God doesn’t want anyone to do is tear somebody down because of their lack of understanding… I’m here from tik tok but I myself used to yell and talk loudly at people who I felt like was quote on quote “lost” but I looked at myself like girl you didn’t know everything you knew about God and being a woman of Christ at one point either. I find that people are more susceptible to receiving the information when they are spoken to calmly and with care. God doesn’t scream at people or talk about their appearance. We are really losing the recipe if we think that is how a Christian servant should speak to ANYONE. Taming the tongue is difficult in today’s age, I understand. But I’d be drunk if I thought that argument came from a place of love. The older woman gave her no room to finish her points or properly rebuttal, and energized it to become a toxic exchange when it didn’t need to be. The purple hair showed more patience, but gave it up once the judgement became more nasty. Sure, you could argue that her way of living isn’t harmonious to what the Bible calls forth with the traditional wife, but overall, this is clearly NOT the platform for her lifestyle to be challenged.

The only expectation I have is for those that are profiting off of their ability to influence to be true to the convictions they push and prop up as the ideal. But to your point, you are absolutely correct. There is a problem within the Black community as a whole. And it won’t be solved by grifting, snake oil, influencers more concerned with the spotlight than helping our people.(checkout her backstory) It will only change when, and if, we turn away from the narcissistic, celebrity, sex driven perspectives on how Black folk can achieve success.

Melanie looks good and is fit. But she sure as hell is NOT feminine and friendly. She has a lot of passive aggresion towards women. Especially younger women because she is competing with them. At 54:37 the aggression slowly but surely looses passiveness. Melanie also needs to realize, just because you are old doesnt automatically mean the youngones have to respect you. You have to earn that respect which you certainly wont get by calling someone every name in the book and telling her to listen and be quite. You think telling is teaching which it ain't. You're engaging in hostile behaviour right now.

On the point of respecting elders, it's a cultural communal practice. You give respect to elders first, even if you don't know them. Westerners don't practice this much, but it's universal nevertheless.

Calling someone a jezebel with hella plastic surgery is wild! Also L host he should’ve moderated and allowed both parties to speak their peace instead of letting washed up Auntie keep going. And she is not a representation of U.S black women cause we def make our mans plate wth that was a stupid lie

The only thing I’d say is for people to show common sense, if a persons English is not first language, at least acknowledge it’s not going to be the same level of ours, and then just ask them to break down more to help them explain their point, as their terminology will be different. Otherwise great podcast as always.

Melanie loves hearing herself talk, but the number of comments here, defending this bogus female empowerment is disturbing. There is no excuse for putting scantily clad pictures online, and men should not be engaging with women of poor character to begin with.

First time to this channel and I'm not impressed. Melanie wants women to be weak and dependent on men, the host agrees with that nonsense and the other ladies suck.
