Her description of the black man is spot on but also is why our women run over us

I think black women raised predominantly by block women are easier to run over because they’ve been conditioned to bend to a woman’s will! Outside of that it’s black women and their use of the legal system that allows them to somewhat control them! Without that backing it’s a different ball game!

Melanie has *literally* just explained why average black men are disrespected by Black women hence why they end up dating out. Yet when we bring up this *fact* Black women will gaslight, deny, deflect and name call “Your just a sell out, colorist etc.” so I respect Melanie King for calling it out like it is! 👊🏿

100% facts I had a friend who was bullied into oblivion because he wasn't acting "black" and ended up gang banging in the 6th grade no less. He liked anime and other things deemed nerdy and was generally a good kid but that's the sad reality of not letting black men just be who they are. They'll let others dictate it for them.

MK is propping up black men who are raised by single women like they're the ish but she shits on single moms, lol, for running away their Man. This woman is using this fact to make black men sound better but doesn't realize she's just contradicting herself own beliefs about two parent house holds. Oh the irony!

I think the Joe Budden point is that it is a petty thing to put down a blank woman in a public space for what happened as a kid. I’m not in the people who find it to be reprehensible to address your bullies but there are those who say let your success speak for you. I think it’s the idea of blaming people in poverty for the crimes they commit while gatekeeping access to success

We as BM are a debatable #2 or #3 for casual sex/hookups, but we're the least desired for LTRs/marriage. Stereotypes that help BM get casual sex: More athletic, more swag, BBC. Stereotypes that hurt BM for LTRs/Marriage: Thugs, criminals, deadbeat fathers.

MTR is a good dude... smart guy. But I gotta be honest, I cringe when I hear him code switch. I mean, I get it, how it’s been necessary for a guy like him, or guys like us, as a survival tactic. I dunno, maybe there’s no way to win with everybody. But I think that’s the point though. Does code switching reinforce the basic idea inside the notion that Michael B Jordan “should” have had a different personality?
