Now this is what you call a demo... I was wanting the demo to finish so I could get some testing done but did not want to miss out on any of the information... Fantastic...

Woow !! I did not expect that this code is gonna be openly available. That's what I call "perfect boilerplate", I am gonna start coding in Blazor 😁.

This was an excellent overview. Far too many of these videos only touch on the most basic of applications with no real world considerations. Looking forward to working with a realistic demo.

Game changer. I no longer have to take my custom C# engineering dlls and recode them to Javascript.

Not for me though. blazor-wasm.quarella.net/ (Re)loading of this website takes too long on my smartphone. They need to work on boot performance and this will take another year or so, unfortunately. So I'll stick to Blazor Server for now.

@@cascadengineering it very much depends on the application. Any WASM will take longer on that initial load but if the user is going to be spending a hour or more doing something then the initial load time is worth it for faster overall response. Just depends on the app and functionality.

This is so awesome ... i hope there will be a SPFX version of Blazor. That Javascript based programming is killing me as a long term C# dev.

It's like Silverlight has come back with a better chance of success. Shared code is really useful.

Nice video and I am especially interested on steps to make Blazer WebAssembly hosted on GitHub but I am curious if it possible to make with ASP.Net Core hosted option. It may sound impossible but with the right client it might be possible in Progressive Mode.

Blazor for me it wasn't secure , because you can steal code library from "xxx .com/_framework/blazor.boot.json" to download dll file , this made me very sad

That can be done with ANY frontend framework. You can look for ways to obfuscate the DLLs.

Now that Web Assembly is becoming commonplace, I would think that there would be a new markup language for web applications instead of HTML which was made with documents in mind instead of applications.

Sure. Why bother? Gatsby, React based, can't be touched. React is easy and widely adopted...go with the flow. Make a living with React...be a weirdo contrarian with this shi th.
