This is one of my favourites. Gorgeous views framed in all of the windows. Incredible thoroughly precisely thought-out craftsmanship. Beautiful cat. Nice guy. Love the bed, besides and coffee table. This is one of the main reasons why this series is so outstanding... and not only the gorgeous camera work but also the music, which Bryce himself composed, the editing of the episodes (esp transitions), the house & chimney-puffs logo... it's all stellar! No wonder it's the top tiny home channel... There's just no comparison!

@@cryptoij1297 haha I think I am under qualified to speak on that, it’s probably more of an economics question! But personally, I think that in many places around the world, the housing market is skyrocketing to prices many people can’t afford starting out. Tiny houses are definitely not cheap, but I think cheaper relative to some of the market prices of homes in some parts of the world. Also the fact that many tiny houses are almost or completely self sufficient is probably more environmentally friendly. On the other hand, to transition to a small home and lifestyle with a tiny house isn’t for everyone. Also, lots of tiny homes featured on the channel seem to be in nice open landscapes, which is great! But also can easily cause almost an urban sprawl sorta deal: the tradeoff of living out so far is commuting much more and from and environmental perspective causing more pollution - from a civil perspective, potentially more infrastructure on roads and gosh knows concrete isn’t the most environmental thing out there lol. Hard to say, definitely up to circumstance, and I think it heavily depends on if the tiny houses are suited to climate, financial needs, convenience, environmental impact etc etc. I personally like the idea of them! But I think it’s doubtful to think they’ll be the staple in the future. People need their space sometimes!

Certainly one of the sharpest container homes I’ve ever seen. The bump outs really bring a wonderful improvement to the look and practical use of internal space. Thank you Bryce and Rasa for bringing this home to our attention.

The couch recessed into the bay window and the wraparound porch really add so much. Full bedroom, full living room, full bathroom, no sacrifices. Fantastic.

Me too, it has a first floor bedroom. I know lofts are cozy, but after a certain age, they can also be a challenge.

Those windows...containers are not easy to convert, and windows are a big part of that. He did an amazing job integrating them. Extremely impressive!

I love that there are no lofts and there is so much head space, even for you, Bryce. And the bumpouts are fantastic.

Bryce, this is a beautiful home...nice to see a bedroom that you don't have to crawl in too..The bump outs make such a difference... he has 365 feet and it feels larger than that..The wrap around porch is amazing ...your land is quite beautiful...lots of luck....your cat is beautiful 😍....Thank you Bryce & Rasha....Be Safe Be Blessed

I am someone who loves lots of windows and lights and being able to see outside. And with this views... wow... this home really does those views justice! Those wrap around curtains for the bedroom are really lovely. And I like John's design of the flashing for the exterior of the windows. Beautiful and tidy looking too. Now all John needs is a bit of art inside! Bryce, sounds like you have a cold, so hope you feel better soon!

​@@johnmatsacos4692costs are rising in materials and supply chain. It's why construction companies are collapsing in Australia (even though this is NZ). A tiny home for this man's wants not needs at $230K is pretty darn cheap. He doesn't want a large home, he wanted quality materials.

It seems like tiny home designs are becoming more livable. I first started watching tiny home content about 9 years ago, and a lot of them felt unrealistically tight. I love to see these designs that optimize the feeling of space and have so much natural light!

Absolutely LOVE this channel! I have watched EVERY single video, and happily wait for Friday to watch the new one. John is very talented. He built a beautiful home. You and Rasa create highly professional and magnificent work! May God give you the strength and ability to continue. How I wish I lived in New Zealand!!

In the Dallas area there’s a HUGE shipping container lot (a couple hundred acres) with thousands of containers that have only made a single ocean trip, so they are undamaged and in perfect condition. And their prices are lower than anyone else, even those selling very old snd highly used containers. My goal is to eventually get one to make a woodshop and use spray foam insulation so I can heat and cool it easily for year-round use.

i think lofts are nice for kids, storage and aesthetic. Not safe or practical really. The number of ppl who die on stairs in UK is staggering..

This is not usually myth aesthetic, but with all the "indulgences" won me over! The clean white walls, kitchen, bath, and bedroom, makes it feel so clean, not stark. I appreciate that he is proud of his creations and I think he's onto a perfect career path for him! I wish him well and as always, thank you Bryce and Rasa! Another great video!

Layout is so comfortable with the natural light and the scenery all the way around is beautiful.

Apart from the tiny homes, what I really look forward to when I watch this channel's videos are the landscapes: they are breathtaking!

The strategically placed bumpouts are great, and it seems like the layout could work for people who use mobility aids (unlike a lot of tiny homes), which is cool.

Love the foundation he has for the container.

A man who has cats and his space is not black and gloomy (the dark-furred kitties are beautiful though against the bright background)! Wonderful in every way.😊 😻🐈

This place is great. With very few modifications this could be made fully accessible for a wheelchair user! Respect to John for this design.

Beautifully engineered, clean lines, and I like the symmetrical lines in the bedroom.

The cat is a cuddler. ❤️ the walls are so bare; no artwork or plants but he said he likes it. 👍$143,000 US dollars is an amazing low price.

Such a lovely place. I love the quality of his work, the skill is just outstanding. I also love how he never compromised on having things that are big and nice like Shower and Basin, small houses don't have to be unbearable.

Very rare to see someone who does better design in a small tiny houses. I would love to see him more for other people. The cost is incredible good price for good outstanding quality out there.

This is one of those builds that really showcases the impact of good landscaping + deck building for a tiny house. It just feels fully fleshed out with that landscaping and location. Edit: No composting toilet! Definitely a fan of that (I don't like the idea of using a composting toilet myself - I'd rather use an incinerating one) Double Edit: Heck, if I can save up the cash I'd be interested in talking with this guy about a custom build one day. This build is fan*tastic*!

Every week I have my retreet time , watching your videos ... Is a very nice ritual to end my friday getting new ideas , enjoying architectural details , landscapes and homes of course . Thanks Bryce and Rasa for this work .
