Have to give credit for releasing a song like this. It is an odd-sounding song, with magnified bass and synths, little in the way of lead guitar. All these years later, 40 years later, it still sounds fresh, invigorating and new.

They were amazing live. One of my favourite bands in the early 80s when I used to spend a lot of time going to see live music in venues like the Seaview Ballroom, the Prince, the Jump Club, etc, etc. So much great music around in Melbourne then. The Models were definitely one of the very best. I felt a bit sad when I saw Sean Kelly playing with some guys in a pretty empty pub years later - probably late 90s, early 2000s. I was going to tell him what a huge fan of the models that I was and that he should get them back together but I thought that it might embarrass him under the circumstances. Anyway he did eventually get the Models back together and they are as fabulous as ever. Their music is pretty unique so it hasn't aged as much as otgers.

Absolutely one of the best songs put together in that period. That bass break. The crazy drum shuffle. It's like a crazed new wave funk machine set on automatic that would still play if the band had all passed out. The bass is impeccable. The synths are really well utilised. The guitar subtly creeps in here and there. The drummer is as we all know a legend.
