I like the idea of the Industrial units, they should look very effective. Never heard of the brush on textured paint but Iv'e seen the spray on stuff, that I was thinking of using. great update John.

Looking really good, coming on well. Think the track needs weathering tho.

I've experimented on the track that's under this platform so its not visible... once I'm confident that I'll do a decent job on the visible bits I'll get it all done :)

Hi, How did you apply the AK asphalt, did you water it down and if so what ratio did you use. Just bought some and it appears really good stuff. Looking forward to further updates.

Hi Len. I've been experimenting with this a little since. Mine was pretty watery anyway so I used mine neat from the tub. It works better if you apply in small layers. Treat it like a skim, rather than a filler if that makes sense? I used a 3 inch flat scraper and a small art trowel thing. There is a definite skill to applying it and I have cocked some up that I'll redo.
