🚇 Modeling a Tunnel Family in Revit 2024

With the introduction of the Toposolid tool in Revit 2024, it is now possible to model tunnels! This tutorial explains all the steps to model a face-based family that can be placed on the edge of a toposolid.

Thank you for tip. Could you explain how to generate a tunnel with a curves (path equal spline) ?

This approach would only work for straight tunnels, right?

Yes, but you could create something similar by using a sweep void placed on an angled reference line

It'd be interesting to show us how to make it in sweep technique

We just did a test of a generic model model in place. You cut touching the topo solid first and then the model in place. We are going to put all the cutting elements on a workset to turn them all off.

Wouldn't the grips be visible even only changing the reference plane from Weak to Strong Reference? I need to try it now :D

Anytime it's an instance based parameter, the grips will be visible in 2D views. To make them appear in 3D views, you must use the special ref line trick.
