She didn't lose her hair she gained it all back. The hair she had was doing nothing for her at all. So friggn awesome 👍😎 i love it so much. Can't wait to whip out a manne to interpret this style to use on my clients. So funky, fresh, urban cool and trendy. Such a talented stylist!

This haircut look great on her. I have natural curly hair and I have a pixie cut. I use hot tools on mine. Don't let the negative comments get you down. It looks great!

I love the cut! She has options for styling, too. That’s always a good thing in my opinion!

I love her hair just when finishing drying. It's perfect, no need to be straightened.

This gave me the extra boost of confidence that I needed to do a style like this. I have hair all the way down to my butt, and it's all being cut off into a pixie cut a little longer than this to be donated.

It seems a great idea to donate your hair for a good cause, but all they do is turn around and sell it to be made into wigs that cancer sufferers can't begin to afford. Thats why the majority of cancer patients use scarves and hats.

Nice seeing that hair falling to the clippers and being swept away with lots to follow. Nice seeing that top falling to the scissors. What do you want bet she woke up the next day and cried and cried?? And forget after she washed her hair for the first time?? She would have been so much better off getting a cut that wasn't so much work. I have hair a lot like hers, and I cannot wear my hair short. I spend forever with hair products, the blow dryer and straightening iron. Long hair is thousand times easier.

Mary Anne Brown I've had long hair down my back and now i have super short hair. the short is much easier to look after and keep looking good all day unlike the long hair which always ended up looking like a birds nest after a couple of hours

Are you crazy? Long hair is such a pain in the ass to take care of every single day. Especially when you have thick curly/wavy hair like mine. And hair that gets greasy quick and easily doesn't help.

I think she looks SO much prettier with short hair! I might be biased, though, because I have the exact same cut. I love it! For those in the comments who think it looks hard to maintain... it's not! If it's cut properly it'll sit where it's supposed to and only takes a couple minutes to style, even with wavy hair.

I was a little worried at first because not everyone can carry it off but I think she looks adorable and the color is gorgeous. My only concern would be the maintenance on keeping it looking that good and fresh. She seemed very happy with the results and that's all that counts.

My Mother had my hair cut like this when I was a kid in the 70's. I had thick hair and this was easy for her to manage. It's a really timeless style I feel. Of course I let my hair grow out and my natural curl do its thing soon as I started paying for my own hairstyles ! 🙂

Actually, I thought it looked good before the stylist used the iron. The model has natural curl, so it should be easy for her to handle.

kagosavampire its my issue all the time w/ my curly hair... Keep in mind what the hair does on it's own and then figure out a cut. Finally I decided to just cut mine on my own

When I cut my hair off, I had long kinky curly hair- ringlets. The hair I ended up with after my hair was short was wavy and mostly straight. When hair is cut short it doesn't have much room to curl. Maybe she wanted less maintenance in the morning- and I don't blame her

Boy, I hear you on that one. I've had numerous short haircuts in my lifetime. Never again. My hair is now 1/2 way down my back. After I wash it, I make two long, spiral curls and let it dry. Easy peasy.

She had wavy hair before and from the look of it in this video she left it natural and didn't use product on it. I really think she looks 100% better now! It won't take her long to style her new haircut. You go girl!! In my opinion, curly hair is a curse! Always have to put products in it to keep it looking nice and not a big frizz ball. I'm very happy that I was not "blessed" with curly hair!

Technically I like pixie cuts but some people really need to take into consideration their face and head shape and hair texture when getting a new style. First, a pixie cut will not compliment her face shape. Second, that haircut is horrible and the stylist clearly doesn't know what a pixie cut is and lastly, she will spend too much time straightening it after showering which she'll most likely get frustrated with.

Time's Up I agree. With any haircut you wanna work with your stylist to get what works for your face shape and hair texture. Can't just choose one cause it looks cool. I feel like that's what they did here, doesn't work with her face shape and having to work against her natural texture all the time is gonna get old really fast.

Time's Up While I agree that the cut did not suit her face, I think she can still have a pixie, it just has to be done in a different way to be tailored to her face shape. Her bangs should be longer, and she should have some face framing pieces, maybe a tad bit longer, and it would be fine. But then again if she likes the way she looks, then that's all that matters. I'm pretty sure she was aware of the fact that she has a long face before she decided on this sort of pixie cut. Maybe she's happy with her shape and sees no point in trying to hide it.

I like it! Cute haircut. The only thing I would have changed is the razor cut around the ears. Nix that. A cute feminine fringe would have blended her natural curls so she could have wore them loose and "unstyled" if she chose. But still, a great cut.

Her curls were large. It isn't long enough to curl now, only to wave. She can get a smooth wavy look without a flat iron and with the right hair products.

Not at all. I have hair like hers and it only curls from ear-length down. When I cut it shorter than that, it stayed pretty straight

Not all curly hair gets frizzier and tighter when it's shorter. My hair is curly, and it is LESS curly when I wear it short. Curl pattern varies depending on the person.

Zena Braithwaite I donated my hair last year and I have very similar hair to hers. It was less curly after I cut it! I'm getting a pixie tomorrow and I'm not nervous at all since I know how it works when short :)

That could possibly be true however you can still change the way it acts and looks. Hair doesn't stay the same forever. Hair is surprisingly crazy, my brother had straight hair but while he was in high school his hair completely went curly.

curly hair requires a lot of time to take care of and such. she might not have had time in her daily routine to take care of it. it looked like she always kept it up in a bun because the way the curls fell (mine look like that after a long day of it being up) so getting a short cut might have made it easier for her to take care of

My curls were super damaged and frizzy before I cut all of my hair off. After washing it for the first time after the cut, I was shocked to see how bouncy, beautiful and smooth they were. They had just been hiding underneath years of damage and that’s why my hair was always so frizzy.

have fun straightening it every morning.....

I hate to know what they think my hair length is if they think that's extremely long lol. I do love pixie cuts

Thanks for the video. I would love to see how her hair grows out. Not because I want to see it grow long; I'm a true fan of short hair. May I recommend allowing the top layers to be about 1 inch longer and more wispy. The back side in on point, and it would look more soft with longer bangs which hang from the side. 😁

What a difference! She looks a whole new person. The new color and highlights are very nice, and the cut is sooo perky on her! I hope she's able to manage the styling okay on her own. Very nice!
