Model Boat Show - This Is On Another Level
Instead of markets or galas, we are at the Matakana Primary School Boat Show. On a rainy day what better thing is there to do. In this video, you will enjoy the craftmanship that has gone into making these boats. They truly are an amazing thing to see in person. So sit back and enjoy. Thank you for taking the time to watch this video. It really means a lot to me. :-)

Love all the model ships.
Thank you for posting your video showcasing that Nautical craftsmanship is alive and kicking. It makes my pathetic attempts to shame, but , like the previous from ragnor 56, I also get great [pleasure in just making something to the best of my very limited capabilties of the industry in which I worked for many years

Oh that is awesome. No problem. Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching 🙂
Thank you for posting this video on the art of ship building ! I've always wanted to try to build a replica of the 56' shrimp trawler that my grandfather built many years ago but age has gotten my hand shaking worse.

I know the feeling! I`m in my early 70s and love to build sailing ship models. I just cant tie all those knots in the rigging anymore, but as long as I can use glue, hobby and woodworking tools and paint, I`ll concentrate on other subjects like work boats and commercial ships.
Thanks for posting. Wooden boats are my main hobby. Cheers from Nova Scotia.

Exposição incrível! Lindas embarcações 🌟👏
That little angular bow, scow looking, one from 0:41 to 0:51 is appealing. Might have to borrow its design for building a pond and pool sailer. ⛵🙂 Am going to presume that centerline box between its masts houses a keel which can be raised for dealing with shallow water.

There after 7:00 that little red/green/wood/white passenger ferry is attractive.
Watching from “Las Vegas” USA, if you live in the desert this is cool to see. Thank you

Pretty impressive, aren't they. Thank you for watching 🙂
Am expecting a fair number of the sailboat models were operational by either radio control or free sailing; wonder how many of the powerboat and ship models were operational models.
Awesome work! SAT-25-May-2024.

That would have been a very long video. Thanks for your comment I appreciate you taking the time to watch it means a lot 🙂
Whoever built the Daring Destroyer and called it HMAS VAMPIRE and numbered it D11. Got the name and number wrong. That is in fact a model of HMAS VOYAGER D04. The Vampire and Vendetta were later modifications D08 & D11 respectively. I know this because I served in HMAS VENDETTA and have copies of the original “As Built” drawings of HMAS VENDETTA/VOYAGER and have built my own model of the VENDETTA

Gotta be honest Ive been anaesthetized to the Titanic. Ok it was a tragedy but.... yawn. Give it a rest. You'd think it was the only ship that ever sunk. There were others that lost more lives as well.
thumbs down for the face time
