An excellent summarized description of these tools. When I dove into heavy modding of my Skyrim a couple of years ago I could have used a cheat sheet like this. I eventually followed enough internet links to discern why one mod depends upon another and another to be there (looking at you, Fnis) but it wasn't easy or without necessary tweaking.

Thanks for the video. Can you do a video focusing on xedit? I mean letually with example about how to patch conflict between mods. And maybe a tutorial about how to use wrye bash/mator smash etc etc. Thanks again and you just earn a subscriber:)

I got so clustered with errors of confusing and unmanageable nature that I nuked everything I had. Clean reinstall of everything, except, for MO2. Deleted the files off my computer and reinstalled only to find that somehow it has remembered my old buggy modlist, and lies about the directory I've assigned it to not existing.

hey! great video and channel, it’s really helped my nodding journey for Skyrim! I have an issue that I can’t find an answer to ANYWHERE, and it’s mod organizer giving me a warning ⚠️ and saying “plug-in not found: (mod name)”. It has done this for every mod I’ve downloaded except for the first 2 I have, the unofficial SSE patch and a map overall. I have looked on forums and on KZread and I have no idea how to fix this. If I ignore the issue, SKSE simply won’t launch (and if I uncheck these mods it launches fine). When I click on the ⚠️ it gives me “form 43 (or lower) plugin detected” for everything. Please help me if you can, I have no idea where to go from here and I just started modding.

I appreciate that thank you! :-) Form 43 is a mod designed for Oldrim. I have a feeling the mods you’ve installed are from Skyrim Nexus and not Skyrim Special Edition Nexus

Hi, could you possibly tell/show m how to change a form 43 file to a form 44? Been playing Skyrim for about 9 years on Console, just bought a Gaming PC and want to start Modding. Need help!! Loaded EMB from your video!!!😂

Form 43 is a mod designed for Oldrim. Sometimes they cannot be converted. Some can be ported to 44 but it’s only for advanced modders and you need permission from the mod author before doing so. Look for Skyrim SE on Nexus and not Skyrim when downloading your mods

So I put cloaks of Skyrim into mod organizer and installed it. Also ticked the box. When I run loot however, that mod is not there. Is there a reason for that perhaps? I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still does not appear in load order

Make sure it’s also ticked in the right pane, under Plugins tab. You can also hide the USSEP patch(or move it to Optional folder), as it’s not needed. Cheers!
