Where did you get the Damascus blade? Does it fit the signal do you know?

Is that the old version of the TTI?

I wish I had all the tool to do this. I love my charge + TTi but I have no use for the file an mini screwdriver

Currently there is no shop that i'm aware of that produce it. It used to be texastoolcrafters. Maybe a local bladesmith, otherwise, just special edition Leatherman

I don't know anybody who likes serrated only blades wish Leatherman would stop putting them on shit and just give us big scissors from the start, then they could put an awl where the baby scissors go.

Nice modifications! But what about the weight? And tell me, why big scissors are better solution than small one? Who of them is better in manicure(for nails)?

Ринат Байжанов , weight is about the same. I opted for the big scissors because you can open it from the outside, sort of a mini surge

Will the scissors from the Surge fit in that spot you put those other scissors in?

Philip Brennan, the Surge scissors are a little long, some trimming is needed and if i am correct the bolts from the Surge is also needed. I saw pictures with this mod on a wave.

U can build ur own perfect leatherman buy the big main ones an switch it out an be the dude with the bad as custom leatherman 8D

Very nicely done! I have just one question. Because the saw is locked in by liner lock, and you switched it from left hand to right hand, how did you get the liner lock to engage properly?

I had to grind it slightly, just a tiny bit. Pass the file on the sandpaper, test, pass again, untill it fits snug and tight. I fcked one, so i know

Very nice video, i like the way you work on the Leathermans i have a question about the function of the little rascal, i have the same Leatherman charge Xti and the little rascal you grinded on your tool broke in mine, some i am concerned about the function of this little thing, it affects the proper functionality of the tool itself?

Manuel Julian Obando, the function of the "rascal" is to have a support for the pliers to sit on even, in the midlle when the tool is closed

Why change the blade? Literally the one advantage the charge tti has over the wave is that S30V steel blade

@@Rikhardi To expand on this, Damascus refers to a mixture of more than one type of steel so it depends what's in that mixture. There are Damascus blades with ZDP189 core which is probably able to get harder than any other steel and therefore has better edge retention. With Damascus you will be dealing with high carbon steels which are generally (depending on heat treatment) harder than S30v. I've also heard, though I have not noticed it myself, that Damascus patterning creates micro-serrations adding a bit of bite to the cut.

Can one put a surge interchangable blade in place of the saw?

Vladimir Ladev , the bit for the multi use of the bits that i have (imbus, torx) and the philips for the most cases where you need a longer philipsscrewdriver (had my occasions, from electronisc to a damn window). The mods pirsue my personal needs, i only show how to accomplish

I'm sorry you do not like the music, yet this song has a vibe that i enjoy. There are studies that show that a certain tipe of music is worldwide accepted and good for background noise yet... I like to be me
