Just wish we could have more sticks with western-style outputs. It ain't right if it doesn't feel like the Big Blue.

What's he saying is when replacing each button don't rip everything out and once and replace one button at a time so there's no confusion on what wire goes where!

I’m primarily a pad player these days but I like the artwork on these new sticks; but I was reminded that I hate hayabusa buttons and lever. I recently swapped my RAP N back to Sanwa Buttons and it’s much better.

Ball = Japanese style of stick, Bat = American style (bigger hands) Button mod = Sanwa buttons with shorter throw for faster inputs to the game, for quicker combo chaining

Bought one of these in January 2023 and it worked well until this month (November 2023) It starting turning on by itself if left plugged in and now while playing its starting to disconnect and reconnect randomly

I have never once seen a person put a bullet top on their stick, that's crazy, what kind of gate do you use?

As a fightstick enthusiast, I wouldn’t put a bat top on the Hori lever. The lever is horrible and desperately needs to be swapped out for a sanwa or even a Korean lever. Horis sticks are god awful

Yeah If you want to get a bat top, just get a Korean lever and experiment with different tensions.

...and Ken still has no Ryubi Kyaku (demon scissors). If he had the Ryubi Kyaku he would end the "hyper tornado" super with a mid-air Ryubi Kyaku, like Sean's counterpart.

The real money-saving tip (especially for PC players that don’t plan on going to any locals anytime soon) is to grab an old Xbox 360 stick and replace all the parts with your own sanwa or other preferred components. May require a bit of soldering, though, as not all sticks have those clips on those wires.

yes they will. The buttons should be the same size, the only difference is the travel time which is much better. If you are modifying the lever though, not sure about the tension springs/actuators etc. if they are compatible but I would assume they should be.

@@xXspringsXx no problem, just be careful because there are 2 sizes of sanwa buttons. The regular size 30 (this case) and the size 24 which are smaller

It’s very relevant to fighting game players. It’s also very very obvious

Sf6 input is a mess. You can be as clean as a whistle with your movements but you won't get the desired outputs during combat. Very frustrating.

Surprised at how many people didn’t know how to do this. Got me thinking about making a short on how to wipe one’s butt.

So you made it look worse? Now the buttons don't match.

Get yourself a hit box with 14 buttons modern controls on classic mode

I got the dragon ball fighterz fightstick from razer which has amazing art but one thing I changed was the ball top from black to a clear blue top so now it’s a masterpiece 🥹
