16 years with mine and never had a problem other than the air pump going out the second year but never replaced the pump and system still going good

Thanks so much for this. We purchased a house with this system and know nothing about this type of septic system. Nor we could we find out anything about it. This seems like a great system, in theory, but how does one get a reliable pump that doesn't die every couple of years? The septic with drain field and leech is so much better, from a customer point of view.
