Going back 45 years or so to my undergraduate lectures , I can say that these lectures are of a higher quality that those on an Engineering science degree at Oxford. The west should look out.

40:46 The energy balance equation at the top is correct. Presumably, the delta can be computed (as a function of v and the auto-ignition temperature) by setting the energy flux produced within the flame thickness equal to the energy flux transported out? May the auto-ignition temperature as a function of activation energy and the burned gas temperature in turn be approximated as the temperature of the inflection point in the reaction rate? May we use the Hughoniot relation to compute (the minimum...) v as a function of the auto-ignition temperature and the unburned gas temperature? Finally, should (the minimum...) R (= R*?) be set equal to the quenching distance (for the cylindrical geometry...) as a function of the activation energy, the auto-ignition temperature, and unburned gas density? Then the top equation can be be solved for the MIE as a function of activation energy, net chemical energy released per unit mass, burned gas temperature, unburned gas temperature, and unburned density? If such a MIE were released at r=0, would the blast wave track into the Hughoniot curve with the temperature dropping to the auto-ignition temperature before the quenching radius is reached and eventually climb back to the burned gas temperature when R is significantly larger than the quenching radius? Finally, how do the wind speed and the pressure behind the blast wave scale as functions of r/R?

what the deference of detonation and deflagration sir?

detonation is when reactants combust supersonically where as deflagration is subsonic combustion. It depends on mass flow rate most of the time, but don't trust my words, since there are a lot of factors that contribute to the two states.

Dear Atul Mali, FYI Technically India has no official language and less than 18% of people have hindi as their mother tongue. So please appreciate the elegance in his lecture. There are online sites which convert the audio into hindi. you could use that. English is the only language in which most of the students in the country study. So STFU.
