Art+ Magazine invites artist Taipan Lucero for an exclusive interview.
Taipan is an artist who channeled his creativity into graphic design and marketing. During his stint as a graphic designer in Kobe, Japan, he was encouraged by a former American client to explore the design and artistic philosophies of Shodo, or Japanese calligraphy. This pivotal experience inspired Lucero to apply what he had learned to the Philippines’ native writing system.
