Upgrading to brushless did you change the remote as well?

I got the same setup with the 6500kv. I installed it but motor shaft spins inside the pinion gear. Any suggestions?

Sounds like gear slipped. Got tightened up the pinion screw??

too high kv motor. wont have the torque to anything but speed runs. on a crawler. lol

With a new controller, motor etc. I see you didn't connect the lights. Is there a way to connect the lights to the new controller?

Yes you get a dumborc transmitter and reciever and the dumborc light controller

Can it handle 3s?
