Done this on mine, other musts are oil shocks and mounting the servo on the front axle with a kit which removes all steering bump and angle!

Very cool sir. I’ve been thinking about doing this to my sons MN99S. I’ve killed 2 esc’s in it so far! Going to try a budget 30amp and maybe a 370 size motor next. What motor rpm did you buy? I have a 370 motor for wpl d12 but it doesn't have power down low it can't even move its weight. I probably bought the wrong 370 motor for my mn99

Hi there, I bought the D12 one, but if you have plan for 2-gear gearbox then you should probably go for the 2-speed motor instead :)

I just got the DEERC version of this and it can't even push it's own weight up a hill. I get to a tough spot on my course and the battery cuts out and the lights start flashing like it's too much current or something. Did I get a lemon or is the stock setup really that weak?

@@OffroadRC_YT It's the tan board labeled 2022 so I think it's the new one. I took it out after putting a bigger motor and lower gearing and the ESC burned up after about 10mins of running. I have some spare parts laying around to make it run again though. Just need to put the time in.

370 more powerful compared to a 260. it increase the torque in climbing and run faster :)

Erm, this shouldn’t help much because there is a limiter in its factory esc. Perhaps 35c or 60c battery does no difference, but lower amp batteries installed may make your battery hot or esc damaged.

did you replace the electronics too?

I’m not sure the dying is due to the main board burned or any other issue. So far my upgraded mn still working 😊. Is its wire loose when you cover it back and caused the short-circuited? Btw I’m bro 😂

370 motors is just the size, its available in low RPM/more torque and low current draw or high RPM/less torque and require more amps (ESC upgrade may be required)

Apologies for the late reply, yes the rear shaft was short after you change 370 motor. first couple of run it still good in condition, thereafter I sand the shaft to half flat and screw with a grub head screw.
