Dr. Jeroen Deploige and Dr. Wim Verbaal (Ghent University) propose a new reading strategy for the autograph of the Liber Floridus by Lambert of St-Omer: no longer solely as a linear composition, marked by an associative sequence of topics, chapters and illuminations, but as a circular composition, consisting of concentric layers and constructed around a specific central text (the Cur deus homo by Anselm of Canterbury).
