@@mystrenula3911 In 3-5 the protags are wildcards because they are the only ones in their respective game that can use multiple personas. In 1 & 2 the whole party can use multiple personas. The term was created for the modern games where only the protag is special in this way.

Actually, the number is 57. Only the Wild Cards from 3 onward can hold 12 persona. The 3 protagonists of 1, 2IS, and 2EP can only hold up to 3 persona's in battle.

​@@UchihaDareNial the wild card is closely associated with the fool, but it isn't the fool, it's just the thing that allows you to have any persona and draw power from bonds The users of 1 and 2 are not wild card userd, not because of they aren't fool arcana dominant, but because they can only use persona's they're at least a little compatible with. It could be reasoned that essentially, the have split the power of the wildcard among themselves, and that's why its power is weaker, but that's just speculation, as they are not confirmed to have the wild card or not have it

One of them dance because Atlus still manages to bring him back despite him canonically unable to be in any more games, according to the plot.
