The IVE favoritism is annoying they're good but I wouldn't say they're better than Lesserafim, NewJeans & G(IDLE). Their choreo is extremely simple their songs are just catchy but so are "attention'', ''antifragile'' & ''tomboy''. You can’t tell me they didn’t deserve the award when you personally think it’s boring, yes having a huge fan base played a part in it but you also need to understand the references and meaning. 1. the boys are gonna be starting their military services one by one, Jin already started his about a week ago so that song feels like a tribute to their eventual hiatus.

if you actually look into stats you'd realize the daesangs made sense. IVE's songs charted exceptionally well and BTS' album outsold other groups'. I know fans feel unfair or bored when they see BTS snatch another major award again but like come on lmao, at this point it's simply difficult if not impossible to exceed them in sales or impact. Yes every group works hard but the numbers are literally right there.

Some Kpop fans truly think Korea starts and ends with their favorite idol groups lol. The most popular genre of music in Korea is ballades and the public is especially receptive to well written lyrics. IU delivers on both fronts. If you don’t even understand Korean it’s hard to fully get what would make some poetry in Korean better than another one. This whole video just sounds like someone who knows nothing about how this award show works or what is popular in Korea at all and is just pissed that the entire nation isn’t on her wavelength. Also other groups are stereotypical manufactured groups that sing mostly meaningless songs, look pretty and never curse or speak badly about someone even if they've been wronged, like dolls without personalities with a couple of memes providing them with that lacking personality, so ofc they haven't built that type of connection with their fans the ways Bts did. BTS's song was supposed to give a message and show some type of story, like a good song would, and they did. Excuse me if you don't know how much impact STAYC has globally, but they deserve the award. Its not just how fast and many the fans a kpop group have to be deserving of this award but take consideration the extensive growth and genuine love they receive from international fans. bts deserved the award because their comeback was an anthology which was a celebration of their progress in this industry and their friendship with their fandom, the song itself had a very deep meaning as it meant that they are not giving up as a group but diving into their solo projects, armies enjoyed it because it was very meaningful to us and nxde had to be one of the most catchiest songs i've ever heard and the music video and the rap was top-tier and the concept was very unique as it told us the negative consequences an idol has to face when they get popular and fans start sexualizing them.

Literally who cares 😂 it’s an anthology and so what? The general consensus is that the song was boring and they don’t deserve to win and award for it. And don’t come here commenting something inane like “cry harder” because I can guarantee you that I don’t care and yes I can talk about it even if I don’t care.

i think stayc is rising globally for sure. their global fanbase and streams are amazing. and they didnt "flop" with all of their releases this year. run2u did really good and so did beautiful monster. while it wasnt as good as how asap or stereotype did, it doesnt mean that they necessarily flopped. and i think love dive definitely deserved soty as it did amazing in korea and internationally. and soyeon rightfully deserved best songwriter, you basing your opinion on two bad raps isnt quite factual. she has written so many great bsides for gidle and definitely deserves her flowers. and you saying proof is boring? baby probably only listened to the title track and dipped. it just sounded like you were just talking shit at this point.

As an army I agree that bts do get a lot of their awards because of how popular they are and sometimes yes they get awards that even we question how they did but just because you didn’t like the songs they put out this year doesn’t mean it’s boring cuz a lot of people obviously really really like them so basically they deserved to win best male group

Couldn't be more wrong about STAYC. They released run2u, beautiful monster, and poppy this year, and all of them were successful. They've gained a lot more fans globally, especially after attending K-CON. Don't talk bad about them when they've had a great year. Not to mention, girlies are still rookies, so you can't expect them to be as polished and good as other girl groups. They deserve that award. Next. IU won because her releases were successful and were super popular. K-Netizens eat her up because she releases good music. Yeah, she sticks to a certain style of music, but so do LESSERAFIM, IVE, even IDLE. Female Korean solo artists are nonexistent these days. There are plenty, but they never chart because their music is subpar. We should know by now that award shows are not based on quality of music, but how the public receives it. IU won fairly. BTS earned their popularity and are the biggest artists in the world. Any category they're in, they are going to win, and rightfully so. The public eats every song up and they adore BTS. Next!

@I eat worms But they haven't. Their songs did great on the charts, run2u won 7 times at music shows, even beating Taeyeon. Beautiful monster got at least 2 wins. They had a Japanese debut which is crazy considering they're a 2 year old group. They went to K-CON. They attended award shows and won multiple awards. They have done everything but flop this year. Y'all throw that word around too much. If you want to talk about a group that flopped this year, maybe talk about kep1er or certain aespa songs.

Yes like for IU does the creator of the video even listen to her? does she know how she has helped many koreans and international fans heal from her soulful music? there's a reason behind it ehich she obviously doesn't know because she doesn't even listen to her i'm hating the so called unpopular opinions people are creating online cause hey its unpopular for a reason i did agree w her on some topics but she lost me on the iu part. seriously shows her lack of respect towards artists. and the hardwork that's behind those glamorous moments-like she'll ever know

MMA gives awards based on their own charts aka melon charts. It's like korean billboard. So, they don't care about international success. if they did, JHope would've received many noms. This is why Ive won, because they were very very impressive on those charts and just hit everywhere in korea. They also won the K-billboard awards rather than bp, because they had entered their too. Same for BTS, even though it was an anthology album, it did better than most comebacks (KPOP or POP), both in Korea and worldwide. PS: you saying BP winning best female group would have made sense cause they're popular when you called their album the worst cb, and then saying BTS winning didn't make sense doesn't add up.... at all! Also, ytc is a ballad, it's supposed to be slow and mellow. and BTS doesn't make music for the bop factor or whatever. they make music for the sake of music. This is the reason why many of international people like them, why us non KPOP fans like them because their music is actually good unlike most other kpop groups. It's obvious most Kpop fans don't actually like music, it's just the dancing and hype. Which is what KPOP is about in the first place. Acts like LYW, IU and BTS make actually good music, very non KPOP music (sometimes they might have very KPOP music as well, but most stuff is not) which is why you think it's boring. Which is also why the non KPOP fan, Korean gp listens to them! and this is why they win...

If you aren't part of army I don't think you have any right to call this comeback boring bcz this song is very meaningful to army's ()but I love the song the flow the lyrics the video everything is just perfect and I bet this is one of the best comeback of 2022

Bts yet to come was not realesed for breaking records , it was for the fans. And if you ask us , we literally can feel the emotion and didn't felt it boring. But as we Stan bts ,why wouldn't we support and vote them? Yes we are the biggest Fandom and we'll always support them . Everyone has the right to support who they love ,and they'll vote only them.
