NIce video, DOOM Fan for 25 years, but i used to listen to Iron Maiden when i was a early teenager, like two minutes to midnight, seventh son of the seventh son, etc. My interest for Hip Hop evolved around the same time though , RUN DMC/ PE... we talkin' late 80iies and early 90ies. Soon i made the same mistake that you described, nothing is realer than Hip Hop (Metal in your case), the other genres are sell-out. Years later, like ten years later, i opened my eyes and ears again. There is a lot of good and great stuff out there, i dont't like everything, sure, but i can appreciate good music when i hear it. If you want to expand your journey trough music, try Eric Dolphy "Out To Lunch", high volume recommended, jazz banger! Much love from Germany, keep up the good work, ja!

nice reaction, if u want his lyrical masterpiece as u enjoy that lyrical aspect, check out his Viktor Vaughn Vaudeville Villain, many heads feel like this album lyrically was where he found another level lyrically which personally I've not seen matched anywhere else in hip hop, also the beats are far more future tech which gives this album a different, harder more aggressive edge which is teched out which mixes majestically with his Viktor Vaughn futuristic theme, for some this one can take a few listens to consume but with the lyrics on it would be interesting to see how you absorb it..

Great reaction. I always watch these to see how the reactor takes in the sound collage in the middle of the album. Btw, anybody else who's familiar with DOOM's lyrics notice how many mistakes where in these lyrics posted? Unless I heard them wrong but some mistakes were glaring. I still enjoyed following along.
Please do the album "Born like this" from DOOM. That's an album I think you would love that one too. New subscriber but already love your content. Keep doing what your doing.
Love you dude ❤
Same to your final thoughts. In high school I was nothing but rock and metal and then after graduating I got in to hip-hop and some of the firsts I got in to was MF DOOM, , Flying Lotus, Wu-Tang, and Deltron 3030 and it changed my life

Realy honest review the album flows so good its like madvillany theres something to those artis that can make the whole album a big vibe. Gotta give respect RIP DOOM
Poo-Putt Platter is one of my favorite beats from DOOM. It originated from "The Fat Albert Halloween Special." DOOM actually flows on it on his "Unexpected Guest" Album.
“It’s horrible, one li’l evening alone home, end up with carpal tunnel syndrome” got me the first time I heard it 😂
NIce video, DOOM Fan for 25 years, but i used to listen to Iron Maiden when i was a early teenager, like two minutes to midnight, seventh son of the seventh son, etc.
This reaction was awesome. Danger Doom next. You will laugh your ass off
"Fig Leaf Bi-Carbonate" @36:40 beat is from The Devious Dr. Dumpty Spider-Man 1967 episode ...Ghostface used the same beat on his track titled "Guns N' Razors"
I really would love to see you react to To pimp a butterfly by kenrick lamar, im sure you would love it. Its also very different from other hip hop albums just like doom.
Wait until you really understand DOOM all of his samples and how much of a cartoon he is. Its like listening to a super lyrical comic book.

Man, you gotta try a Death Grips album. I would recommend Exmilitary, super heavy album that some metalheads I know view as a gateway into rap.
Great vid mate! You should check out "Figaro" by MF Doom and Madlib. You will not be disappointed. No one should just listen to one genre! I think almost every genre has it's pearls. Of course everyone has a favourite genre. Mine is Hip Hop but Metal, Electronical, Classical etc. (almost lol) everything has something really cool. MF Doom was (RIP) and is a Poet. Love the vibes

You should do his debut album, Operation Doomsday!
nice reaction, if u want his lyrical masterpiece as u enjoy that lyrical aspect, check out his Viktor Vaughn Vaudeville Villain, many heads feel like this album lyrically was where he found another level lyrically which personally I've not seen matched anywhere else in hip hop, also the beats are far more future tech which gives this album a different, harder more aggressive edge which is teched out which mixes majestically with his Viktor Vaughn futuristic theme, for some this one can take a few listens to consume but with the lyrics on it would be interesting to see how you absorb it..

that skit in beginning is from the old graffiti hiphop movie Wild Style, recommend
The skit at the start is from the movie 'Wild Style' (1983). Hip Hop's 1st movie.
41:53 the correct lyrics are: A mental note: return Bob’s record Swear to God, before he gets a job, he robs Eckerd Blessed with a hot flow, tested, it got dough Invested in stress, the best to finesse an opto
Big DOOM fan to the point I can't listen to it unless I have a big break in between. Listened alot over the years. I can and love watch reaction videos of these albums. The songs you say you like, idk, some of your facial expressions seemed forced, to get through to finish the album to get the DOOM clicks. Typing live...maybe it's the off beat bop you do idk. Hope you're really enjoying these. Viktor Vaughn Vaudeville Villain is dope to, check it out.
the opening skit, you were thinking of Only Built for Cuban Linx by Raekwon the Chef.

Someone should probably clarify that it’s not a “real” song but a remix that samples 2 other songs one of which I think he’s reacted to already
Did you notice that the verse Meatwad was rappin at the outro of Danger Doom is the first verse on Beef Rap?
31:49 funky beat was the Fat Albert Halloween special.

I have actually done a few of Asesop. My eariler posts from awhile ago.
The intro where youre saying it sounds like 'Willy sent me'? Sonds like you're thinking the intro to 'Ironman', Ghostface's first album? Oddly enough, DOOM produced several tracks on Ghost's 'Fishscale'. RIP to THE VILLAIN!
Oh do born like this
Get it, "edible wrappers"? 😂
The sample at the very start of the album is from the classic hip hop movie wildstyle DOOM samples the movie quite a bit and the movie is also sampled quite a bit by hip hop in general
SUNZ OF MAN- 5 ARCH ANGELS
Frodo, I don't know if you caught it but you got to love that Kookies is a song about masturbation. You should listen to the original version which had to be changed because Sesame Street didn't want their theme music played over masturbation lyrics, lol. You should go to genius and click the lines to read how clever his bars are.

please listen to Take Me To Your Leader!! Amazing record :)
The version of kookies on this is a remix technically because the original had an unauthorized sample. You should react to the original version of kookies it is much better than the one in this video

I recommend you listen to King Geedorah - Take Me To Your Leader next... trust me
The version of kookies you heard isn't the original version the original version is in my opinion far better but it uses a lot of cookie monster samples which eventually DOOM got into legal trouble for and had to change you can find the original here on KZread and I highly recommend checking it out
Best moment at 52:33 !!!!
Gotta do vaudeville villain, its essential 👌
you should check out the song Guvnor just to hear him rhyme the word Eyjafjallajökull
Beat box from Hoe Cakez is from J.J. Fad - Supersonic 😂
Vaudeville villian or born like this I highly recommend
Vote for mf dooms other character Viktor Vaughan. Lyrically it will blow you away. Also if you like this stuff then I recommend you go deep down the rabbit hole and listen to an artist called Dr. Octagon. Dr. Octagon tracks - Earth people - blue flowers This album these tracks are on is crazy.
You definitely should listen to CZARFACE MEETS METAL FACE. A collaboration between CZARFACE and MF DOOM. Also just, CZARFACE period.
You have to do wutang killah beez the swarm album
man, please do take me to your leader
If you like these beats , you should listen to the Masta Killa first two albums and Ghostface Killah albums Fishscale & More Fish where they use these beats and more MF Doom beats
I forget who he's talking shot about in Beef Rap, nude on the cover?
i love you as a person, you seem nice af. so dont take this the wrong way. but is your beard not symmetrical?

FYI DOOM had *_plenty_* time to make albums while he was alive but he was a well-known procrastinator. After DangerDoom he was supposed to collab wit ya boy Ghostface but never got around to it. In the last 2 decades he only dropped 3 official LPs. This was my 3rd fav LP because there were way too many interludes. P.S. alot of lyrics you're reading are from fans so everything you read isn't gonna be 100% accurate
