So I started this show about two weeks ago in season 1. I was searching for some solo rpg material and cam across this. And I’m now caught up! And holy crap!!!! I love this show! It’s truly incredible. And the BEST part about this show is how completely clean it is! It is so rare to find actual play videos that is suitable for all ages. This is something I can show my kids and is a huge plus! Keep up this amazing show and thank you for keeping it PG to a soft PG-13 rating!

I totally agree! I've showed some episodes to my kids. Fun stuff. There's always that mature content warning at the beginning of each episode, but I've been thankfully surprised that it's mainly been just for action violence and the general dark fantasy vibe as far as I can tell.

This is quite literally the best thing on KZread. I've never had someone else's Actual Plays of TTRPGs have me sitting on the edge of my seat. The session with Thaugolos and the Elven village was nail bitingly good. I've now caught up. I only wish I didn't have to wait for now, but waiting seems worth it!

I hope Thaugolos doesn't find out about Arn's PTSD, he will buy himself a massive wig to thwart Arn's vow once and for all!

Kudos to Arn for persisting through the neverending barrage of stopgaps in his way. Thanks for another great episode Trevor!

His "fantasy adventure" vocabulary astounds me. Trevor is throwing out descriptions off the top of his head that border on poetry.

I have said this before but it's amazing how a little creativity can take all these random rolls and turn them into something compelling.

He is such a good storyteller!

I know that this video is 3 years old, but I just cannot resist myself to point this out - When you gain a 'Unprepared' debility, the only way to get rid of it is to Sojourn in some settlement. You cannot just resupply. EDIT: I should have watched the next episode first in which you talk about this 😅 Apart from that - I am a huge fan of the show! Bravo!

Let's not fool ourselves any longer. Mr. Algorithm should be in a nursing home, eating chicken every day and thinking it's his birthday. At a certain point, letting him roam around is just elder abuse.

Loved the conflict at the end of the episode. Things were going just a bit too smoothly for a while. Great episode, and can't wait for the next one!

Love this series. Arn is my favorite agent of chaos.

Trevor is filling the void, after Adam (temporarily) left the RPG scene. Great production, fantastic enthusiasm. Inspiring stuff.

So close, yet so far, and more promises to keep! And yet it never takes away from the greater journey at hand. Another great episode.

14:18 sees Arn hitting 0 Supply then Resupplying on the run. But I think that’s simpler than intended by the core rules. It’s not well-documented in any of the cheatsheets, but hitting 0 Supply and becoming Unprepared is “sticky” till you either Sojourn and choose to clear the condition or you Take a Hiatus and choose to clear all conditions. Nothing else can dig you out of that Unprepared pit by adding to Supply. A few “(only if not Unprepared)” parentheticals would have made this much clearer! Edit: This is addressed two minutes into the next episode. Excellent. :)

I found this channel through a reddit post a couple of weeks ago and I've finally finished season one and am caught up on season two, and I've got to say that this is *awesome!* I've started my own solo rpg and it takes a lot of work, so to not only play one and keep track of everything, but to film it, edit it down and give it such polish is an incredible feat and let me tell you, it pays off in the end result. Your storytelling and characters are an inspiration. We'll gladly watch episodes as often as you produce them (but with that said, we don't want you to burn out! It's a ton of work, so take breaks if you need to. As long as you're having fun, we're having fun :) )

Thank you for sharing your gaming experience. I have been gaming for over forty years, and I learn something new or get a new idea every episode. One though ( I apologize if this has been covered already)- He rescued the villagers from the Husk, and stole its boat (probably towing the two boats they came in when they left), but that was unlikely the only boat the Husk had, and the Husk may want revenge on that village... just a thought. I started watching yesterday and binged it all, this show is soooo goooood! At the same time trying Ironsworn for the first time, must say the little explanations of rules as they happen are really helpful. Cannot wait to see what happens next!

@@MeMyselfandDieRPG I found the rules for supply too complicated, and too hardcore. Most of the time, supply is more important than Health or Spirit. I've been looking for alternate rules for this. I do actually like what you did there, for me makes sense.

And thanks for keeping the content and language clean! I know you put a mature content rating at the beginning of each episode, but just wanted you to know that it's appreciated. Instead, you need to find help in a community when you sojourn." (page 64). I know some other comments also brought this up, but I just wanted to put the rule out here in the comments for others learning the system. Keep it up!
