Actually, I think Twilight's spell bounced the vampire fruitbat's characteristics into Fluttershy on a genetic level, so she can't be 'cured' if it's treated like a disease. She could have some rather interesting foals. I think the most overt vampire characteristics have merely been suppressed like recessive genes.

It is was toggle latch spell it switch off trait in the bats, but turn it on in creatures with the same trait. Also we do know that past Fluttershy was a bully so why that is even a question?

I just a uber-nerd.. generally there is at least dozen separate theories connecting all together. First of all I suggest everyone check Rescue from Midnight Castle, as this old movie itself drop few bombs regard stuff referenced in the show. And events (events not details) form it were confirmed as canon by Lauren who originally pith its remake to Hasbro, but get TV series instead due to licence reasons.

This would honestly make more sense, after all Twilight was trying to eradicate the vicious desire to absorb fruit from the fruit bats, not transfer both the lust for fruit and physiology onto someone else, because that would've taken another act entirely. I would honestly live to believe that this is the case cause it might just means that Bat-Ponies could be a real race in MLP

I always liked the headcannon that Fluttershy is like part changeling, it would explain: A: Her desire for other's affection(YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE ME!). B: Ability to talk to animals (Chrysalis chewed out her birds for being off key at Canterlot Wedding). C: Her Bat transformation, as the strong desire would have kicked in those latent genes(and since she is only 1/4 or 1/8 changeling, the transformation was only partial).

Although the "You're going to love me!" was more like her interests backfiring and thus causing her to lose it. Before she yells this she spends most of "Best Night Ever" trying to befriend the animals in Celestia's garden, with them running away or avoiding her, before she starts to become desperate and chases them into the gala and she also goes equally crazy during Cozy Glow's attack on Celestia's throne when using the geese, so it's likely if she is "part Changeling" she also holds back her insanity quite well

Maybe she was already a vampire, but the spell just changed her diet, and the only reason she never showed up as one before was because she would only need to drink the blood of a pony once in a while because they’re so big and she would take care of it silently. But when her diet changed to apples, she needed to consume much more, which means she would have to be in vampire form much longer to consume as much as she needs

Damn, this is an interesting theory! The thought put in is brilliant as usual! And I can definitely seeing it as being true.

The spark to ignite the effect could simply be the mental connection to the bats. So as long as no one would make a similar connection such as Fluttershy's Stare, then no one is likely to be fully infected

cool idea dude but I think I have to disagree with the theory. The altering of fluttershy into flutterbat was done via magical means, I understand that the desire doesn't change the anatomy of someone, but no one has ever had an instinct or animalistic desire implanted on them via magic, its safe to assume that since the desire to feed on apples as the bats did had to go somewhere it went the only place it could (fluttershy) due to the fact there were only two other sources it could go to, and one of them was working to expel the desire. I believe with the parasprites the only reason they worked the way they did was due to the fact that parasprites do not need to feed on just food, and thus they started eating whatever else was available (RIP Twilight's books) Overall though, I'm rather disappointed, I don't know if you have another fluttershy story but there's nothing about the dark side to her empathic magic with animals. In the dragonshy episode fluttershy is seen feeding fish to ferrits, and if it is believed that she treats all animals the same it means she had to convince the fish to sacrifice themselves for other animals. I believe that would be a much more fun dark story towards fluttershy.

Her special talent seems to be arguing, as implied in "Scare Master". It seems that she was the one who got adopted, NOT her 'little brother'. She basically mold her adopted family (based on The Simpsons' The Flanders) into her own image. Perharps The HuMane 5 were originally united by Sunset, but somehow all of their memories were erased?

I forget what episode, but in Season 6 or 7 Fluttershy actually turns into Flutterbat by free will.

Very interesting theory, but before going all head canon here is it possible to cure this disease? For example, if Discord found out that Fluttershy is sick is he able to heal her? Also we have seen Fluttershy in more recent episodes with a more normal set of teeth, which might suggest she's recovered, though it hasn't been explained how, and in the episode where she gives Nightmare Night a try she seems to be wearing false teeth. What if Fluttershy infected a lot of ponies, but then, over time, her immune system developed resistance. Could be a fanfic somewhere of patient 0 also being the saviour of Equestria...

This reminds me, during "Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?" when Fluttershy yawns, at a certain frame which is hard to notice you can see Fluttershy's vampire fangs. Also I wish her vampire transformation had been permanent. Fluttershy regaining her intelligence but keeping the vampire form.

I have always wondered what the vampire fruit bats were supposed to live on once Twilight had removed the desire to suck the juice from the apples. The show never explaned that. Why did you put all that old-fashioned TV static into your video? It was really distracting. Other than that, I enjoyed this! :)

It might have also been that Saddle Rager is more like Fluttershy, but Flutterbat is already actively assertive and daring while both Fluttershy and Saddle Rager required an external stimuli (excluding "Putting Your Hoof Down") to become "powerful"

While this is a My Little Pony: Equestria Girls' "Forgotten Friendship" thing. Fluttershy's secret seemed to be that Flower Blush is her daughter. See the whole Fs→FB thing. Also Fb≈Flutterbat. Not exactly a dark secret though. In the yearbook, Fluttershy's signature is in light green, in comparison to Flower Blush's dark green color theme. Animation error? Or a secret message? Unknown if this is going to be a possible storyline, like the planned Sunset Shimmer is Twilight Sparkle's real mother. It's possible in a #SecretSpaceProgram disclosure way, the REAL Fluttershy stated that Flower Bush is her descendant. But if that is the case, could be that Rainbow Dash and Rarity are related? If darker ink means daughter, Rainbow is Rarity's daughter? (Note, both girls are in Nightmare Moon's team in the alternate present) (Unless the similar color means that they're just relatives instead parents and children) Then again, all of The (Hu)Mane Seven are probably already mothers in their real versions. With their children posing as someone else in the story ala the live-action Sleeping Beauty movie, Maleficent. Applejack had Apple Bloom. Rarity had Sweetie Belle. Rainbow Dash had Scootaloo. The EG gang have Closed Book (of Accounting) on EG, their Storybook Series Project. But as we can see, the one who can opened and closed the book is Rainbow Dash, watched by Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. What if Fluttershy always was a vampire pony. The stare could then make sense because maybe it is mind control. Witch vampires do while staring. However, maybe she means no harm to anypony. That would explain why she doesn't live in the middle of Ponivile, but instead on the edge near the Everfree forest. Her timid personality could also make sense because if she'd ever be found out, everyone would be scared of here.

Actually, Ponkers (Pinkie) is the most deadly. Sure Flutters may spread a disease and be able to set it off, but remember Discord. He can break reality to his very wim, thus cancelling said disease. You can argue that Discord could be infected and I wont be able to disprove it because he has gotten sick before. Now about Ponkers, she can ALSO break reality to what she wants it to be. Add to the fact that Pinkie's mental breakdown (Season 1, Episode 25) shows that, in extreme circumstances, she will have a mental breakdown. She's already mentally unsound when harm comes to her friendship with the other Main 6. She is also scarily smart, able to remember ALL the names, parties, and personal problems others have encountered in Ponyville, a ENTIRE village. Pinkie is psychotic yet friendly, even though she has grown in maturity over the years we have grown to know her, she jumps to conclusions and breaks the fourth wall constantly. You can break something already broken but what will that entail, no one knows, no one CAN know until it happens to one. Imagine Pinkie, all her closes friends turn into what Fluttershy was (including her), what will she do? With her fourth wall breaking powers, no one knows. Moliminous, at the end, it shows that Fluttershy is still infected yet she isn't what she used to be in "Bats", she is reasonable and can hold a descent conversation, wouldn't that be applicable to everything else that comes into contact with the disease. Ponkers is a different story, she jumps to conclusions rather quickly (as what ADHD does to people), she has incredible intelligence that can rival Princess Celestia (who is over a thousand years old), and she knows about, and breaks everyday, the fourth wall. She is scary and is a source to be reckoned with when need be, such as when her friends are in situations which can permanently break apart the Main 6. That is my case on why Pinkie Pie is deadlier than Fluttershy, but opinions are opinions. If someone feels if I am attacking anyone, all i can say is that I'm sorry that it came across as that. Also, wow... That's allota words I typed.

It has yet to be confermed but I do have a theory that when taillight altered the fruit bats the spell required a host of some sort to contain gens of the fruitbats therefore making flurrershy a vampire. But sense the show has to be kid friendly the mlp crew (the creaters writers excetera) had to use something less graphic. And apples was the best course of action besides helping kids eat a little bit healthier if they are not already eating healthy foods. Kills two birds with one stone. Besides it is a similar concept with adventure time's marcalene(?) As they used the color red instead if blood again another show that is meant to stay kid friendly. But at the same time convays drunking blood in a less violent ans graphic way leaving a trail of death in its way.

Even if this were true....couldn't Discord cure everyone. Like make the disease not exist anymore, or even maybe create a different disease or parasite that uses ponies/other creatures as hosts with no symptoms, that actually destroys the first infection. Heck, couldn't he just time travel and make it so Fluttershy never got infected? Speaking of time travel, couldn't Twilight and Starlight do that too?

I want to see you and Aeon do a discussion video together as ponies or with you being a creature that could be in MLP and him secretly being the demon pony he always is.
