Oh wow! So she scares kids so much than once they see their "mother or father" they feed her with lots of love. Bribe them to stay quiet and wait for more children to enter the cave, neet!

Ooh, that was a wonderful narration! Though I do have to call bs on that colt's claim that dares can only be doubled. It is a well known fact that triple dog dares exist.

Chrysalis this is not what I meant when I said "get a hobby"

I love this! It’s not traditional grimdark no blood or gore it’s creepy and unsettling and awesome! Great job! Never thought crycilsis could make me feel so freaked out

That’s really sweet of Chrysalis. I wonder if the drawings in her cave were from her own brood or from other children she met in the cave.

That is...grimdark but in sick, numb of fear-way heartwarming

I think Chrysalis being represented in this way has a its own style but there's my own interpretation. The whole story was all Chrysalis' dream, then she woke up, and well... she realized to have become one of the many seemingly mindless monstrosities of pony equivalent of Darkest Dungeon. I guess the that was the only nice dream she had before returning to savagery. At least she didn't met her end like the heir of the household fuckedup ville.

I love this what a fun story! I really enjoyed the voices too.

Nothing like some unsettling traditional grimdark to set the mood...

How many banks did Cheesy Legs swindled and stole from to get that many bits to give away to the fillies and colts?

Okay. Seeing Scribbler and Midori in the yearbook made me laugh. Won't lie, I first thought one of the colts was being voiced by Dawilstinator 😆

I kinda hope we get a sequel to this one, with Golden Oats either trying to get rid of Chrysalis, or just having to adapt to possibly having the changeling queen as part of her life now. It’d probably be the former though.
