Tommy was the man and face of the L.A. Dodgers. He leaves behind a legacy that is hard to repeat. Condolences to his family, friends, Dodger fans, and to all Angelenos who grew up in the 80's who watched him lead the Team to two World Series Championships! Tommy will forever be missed!

Thank you very much from a Dodgers fan. And I know this is way overdue but congrats on winning the WS in 2018 against my team. I almost became a Red Sox fan in 2004 after the greatest comeback of all time beating the Yankees in the ALCS. But most of my family are Giants fans, I didn't have a good relationship with them so I became a Dodgers fan in 2005 to spite them and because of Tommy Lasorda made me a baseball fan. So I despise the Giants and Yankees. He will be missed by all of us especially Dodgers fans like myself. If Dodgers don't win the WS in 2021, I will definitely be rooting for the Red Sox if they ever make it again to the WS.

Jdubs22, you hit the nail dead on the head friend. When Vinny retired and I was watching his goodby speech I cried like a baby. My son looked at me and said, dad why you so sad, I replied, son, I am slowly seeing all of the things that I have loved and grown up with fading away. I cried again today jdubs22. I am 57 years old and my whole life has been a love for baseball and especially my Dodgers. RIP Tommy!!

Tommy turned down several managerial positions with other teams...and this was also prior to becoming a skipper for the Dodgers. Amazing. I bet he put on that Dodger uniform in heaven and is already doing his thing up there with the past players. They are going to love him.
