Just so you know, those aren't "made up" players. Those are real guys. Francisco Urbaez is a real minor league player. You can google him. This is how I've always added new players to franchise, but I always try to find some 48 OVR Free Agent or something. Just someone as far down as I can find, because these are ALL real players. The whole "made up" players the devs "added in" to fill rosters was a thing I remember from 10 years ago, but current editions of The Show are like 99% real players across the board.

Oh ok well I wonder why you can edit some Players names but not others ? It might be based on rather or not they are on the 40 man MLB roster , but I’m not sure because some Minor league guys you can change their name and change everything else as well but others you can’t.

@advantagegaming427 ya idk, haven't looked in to it. I'm not even sure 40 man is the reason, but that's a decent guess. It is weird, and honestly I wish you could just edit anyone. Like, why does SDS care if I wanna make unhinged version of Acuña 😂
