    That was the most dumb downed simplified way to explain hitting tips. Exactly how it should be. Perfect explanations and not over complicating it like a lot of people do. Cool to see you use the tips you're giving too.

    This is definitely one of the most instructive hitting videos I’ve seen. I’ll take this to my game hope to improve. I’ve done the practice mode before but I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone explain the thoughts behind each pitch of an at bat. Thank you for making this Adam!

    Man I have been STRUGGLING with this ever since I started playing. Given I only started a couple months ago but as a baseball lover who loves to game, it’s been very stressful and almost embarrassing with how horrible I am at batting in this game… but after seeing your video I tweaked my settings and tinkered in practice for probably a solid 12 hours and now you’d never guess I used to be horrible at this game (or atleast a little less sucky lol) thank you! The most important tip....stop playing on a big screen TV. Invest in a gaming monitor. Refresh rate it more important than you can imagine. Spend the $100 and get a gaming monitor and you will be able to see the ball 100 times better. Switched from a TV to a monitor last year and I went from allstar to world series ranks and went from a .250 batting average to over a .400 batting average.

    Exactly what I mean by intangibles. One guy on a monitor one is not. One got this somebody else got that. 3 different platforms. Xbox ps4 ps5. Never an even playing field It’s the twilight zone Only resembles baseball in the fact that there is a bat and ball involved. It’s a card vending commercial

    So i can actually answer the whole, "where are you looking question" least when it came to me. I found myself looking toqards the leg of my batter. Mainly because thats what i used to help me time up pitches to the inside. I struggled with inside pitches the most back in 23, so i looked up some tips on how to hit them. The advice the video gave was watch the leg, they tend to do the leg kick thing at around the time you should swing inside. Feel like that probably is why i then started doing better with low pitches and struggled with higher ones. I found myself looking down more than towards the hand.

  • @alecj3454
    @alecj34542 ай бұрын

    I appreciate your effort in trying to make hitting more approachable. You are doing a very good job in explaining things...and then talking us through a game, is quite helpful. I try a new set of tips every year, and i have never had someone suggest taking pitches and just practicing PCI movement...that seems obvious, but never ive had anyone suggest it. Thanks! I enjoyed your video presentation style, and will definitely be watching more of your content. Last thing -- are you underwhelmed by this years version of "The Show"? Im quite disappointed with it. Between the hideous art design, ZERO attention being paid to big problems in franchise, & road to the show, and ZERO attention being paid to hitting (contact hitters are STILL worthless, which is unacceptable) - It seems like they just put out last years game, again, with uglier everything. Diamond Dynasty even has uglier cards. Everything is just so stale and its only been a couple days. I usually play all year round, but i dont know....i cant see even making through the whole baseball season. Just wondered what a content creator thought. Anyway -- Thanks again - Cheers!

    @TerryBollea1

    21 күн бұрын

    @@RonRon0110 just turn on quadrant guessing in the settings. Then guess a big zone. Up, down, left, or right. If it doesn't lock, dont look at that half of the zone. If your playing a human, it works 100% of the time cause people know your doing that, and humans aim for quadrants like that, either up down left or right. If your playing the cpu on all star or above, then every know and then the cpu will read your inputs. Instead of pitching opposite of the zone you guess, it will put a pitch JUST outside the zone cause it knows that a human will pitch opposite the zone so you wont be looking at that side. No matter how bad the pitcher is, the cpu will dot it just out the zone. But other then that, you are making hitting MUCH easier cause you are only looking at HALF of the zone. And if it locks, well then its either a homer, or a ball.
