Even though pitchers don't typically hit anymore, teams should still invest in pitchers who can hit because while it wouldn't be their main objective, having a player who can hit and pitch is a sneaky good plan for game strategy.

This is super fun to watch. That being said, I do not miss the days of pitchers having to hit.

All pitchers should have to bat and be good at it also . they have to bat from time they start youth ball till they get to the majors . Pitchers pitching then turning around to bat and getting base hits or home runs is awesome to me and she be a requirement of the pitcher to be able to hit good . They are silly to be professionals . So play the entire game.

Madbum always hit fucking bombs. He has a good swing too. It's a shame his 2023 season went the way it did. I really hope he has one more good season in his tank somewhere. I'd love to see him play for my Yankees.

Yes I can. Every home run Ohtani hit in this video came from a game where he was also the starting pitcher so therefore he was a pitcher hitting a home run, not a designated hitter

Yes he does lmao. Every clip used was when he was the starting pitcher in the game, making his home runs come from when he was penciled into the lineup as a starting pitcher
