Mike Honcho it wasn’t that much inside. Tabata leaned into it. Announcers even talked about how he leaned into it. UMPS never call it when they lean but that one cost a guy a perfect game.

It seems like the changes M LB makes is for the worse in stead of for the better. In th- e old days pitchers were req uired to finish what they sta rted. Now pitchers are yank ed after reaching a certain p itch count; complete games are a thing of the past. In th e past pitchers got paid acc ording to their stats. Stolen bases are no longer importa nt; the game winning rbi stat was done away with. Sched- uled doubleheaders are gon e, too. With what it costs to see a game the doublehead ers needs to be brought bac k. Fans can go back to seei- ng two-for-the-price-of-one. Baseball should eliminate In terleague games & just go b ack to American League-Am erican League, National Lea- gue-National League match- ups & save the American Le ague/National League matc hups for the All Star Game & the World Series.

I don’t like baseball all that much but I’m obsessed with no hitters in my opinion it’s one of the greatest shows of domination in sports.

The amount of pressure on these dudes in the last innings must be insane.

6:23 is one of the best defensive plays I have ever seen! Especially to save a no hitter!

I’ve been a baseball fan all my life. If you’re having a crappy day as we all do sometimes and need to watch something happy … skip the cute animal videos and watch no hitter videos or perfect games. Pure 100% joy that will make you smile.

I guess I'm the only one to notice that both Mike Fiers and Johan Santana threw the exact same number of pitches in their no-hitters - 134. I doubt that will ever happen again with the number of pitchers each team has on their rosters...

I knew a kid in little league who's parents allowed him to throw 6 to 7 innings but this guy threw way too hard for little league but yeah this comment reminds me of that Some people said oh yeah he's allowed to throw 80 pitches but a majority of our pitchers are only allowed 45 or something I don't remember

The batters got *plenty* of hits in all these games, but position players were able to get them out. The pitcher is the last person on the team who deserves credit for a so-called "no-hitter."

That was the cleanest hit ever to break up a perfect game or no-hitter with two outs in the ninth I have ever seen: right back up the middle, between Darvish's legs. If you're gonna lose it with two outs in the ninth, that's EXACTLY how you'd want to lose it.

An Indian batter reached on an error, stole second, took third on a groundout, and scored on a wild pitch. There is a game in MLB history where a pitcher, Andy Hawkins, allowed 4 runs despite throwing a "no-hitter". He pitched 8 innings without allowing a hit but didn't get credit for the no-no because he didn't pitch the 9th. (Being down on the road, the game was called after his team failed to score in the top of the inning.) Hawkins and the defense behind him allowed 4 unearned runs on three 8th inning errors and two walks, all with two outs.

Its becuase a defensive error was made to allow a hit. If a hit counts as a players error it doesn't go against the no no

Clayton Kershaws no hitter was the most impressive no hitter (not including perfect games) imo because he struck out 15 didn’t give up any walks the only base runner was an error by the SS, no ball was hit hard, only one defensive save, and against a very good aggressive hitting team. If its a no-hitter, there can be baserunners. Either a batter is walked or gets hit by a pitch, you can still throw a no-hitter. Notice one of the games was a no-hitter, the score was 3-1. So there could be baserunners
