This may not be the most "forgotten" game, but I think the players on both teams are fun to look back on, and this one was definitely a classic!

You forgot the 22 game winning streak in the regular season as well. When they got to the playoffs they were cold in Games 3-5 and didn't play well. I felt they used there stuff up in September and struggled in the playoffs because of it.

​@@osurocks24 Disagree. They didn't play bad in this series. People forget how close they came to sweeping the Yankees; lost a heartbreaker in game 3. And the injury to Encarnacion sustained in game 2 really hurt the offense.

I’m a Yankees fan and I don’t know how we cameback after this game. Being down 2-0 and blowing a 8-3 lead in Game 2.

Hey man this is gonna sound nuts. But i was also on the way to the Dodger game and i was watching this on my phone connected to the car speaker in my dads Beamer. We went nuts!!! I was on stadium way waiting to get in the gate i totally remember it.

Gomes representing Brazil and making us proud. Glad he got the ring in 19, the second Brazilian ever, but he was an actual important player, the other one was just on the bench. Yan also caught the last ball

This was the last time in the 2017 postseason that the Yankees lost to a team that wasn’t caught cheating

I can only imagine how mad Gary Sanchez is at 7:45. A missed opportunity to review a call he was right on turns into a huge momentum shift.

I thought we were cooked after this. I still can’t believe that we came back after that, The guys rallying behind Girardi was one of my favorite moments in all my years following the Yanks

Game 4 of 2003 World Series is a good one for this series. Gonzalez walk off in extras and I think Miggy took Clemens deep that game as well

I wish I was more into baseball and the playoffs back in the early 2010’s. I would’ve been going ballistic for games like this.

It'd be nice if more of these classics weren't post season games. Cleveland coming back to extend the second longest winning streak, maybe the As game from moneyball, a nohitter, the Angels losing while pitching a sort of no hitter. Something completely separate from the post season can still be classic.

at least we didn’t cheat to win a world series and also keep in mind how close the dodgers were to beating cheaters. that shows how good they were.

Yet another example and reason why people don’t like baseball. Look I hate the Yankees but that’s not a HBP. It hit the bat and was caught. Strike 3 you’re out. The Yankees shouldn’t have to challenge, they got it wrong, that should be an AUTOMATIC review and umpires and EVERYONE should want to get ALL of the calls CORRECT. Insanity. Baseball is the hardest sport to watch and it’s not actually because it’s long or boring, it’s because u can succeed and the ump just gets to say nope. INSANITY
