ML407 Spitfire at Sywell aerodrome andrew

My flight experience in the Grace Spitfire ML407.
This ML407 was a single seater fighter during world war 2. it flew over 320 combat hours in 176 operational sorties and is accredited with shooting down the first enemy aircraft on D-day.
Post war it was converted into a two seater T9 advanced trainer for the Irish Air Corps, and in 1985 this aircraft was meticulously restored to her current T9 configuration flying condition by the late Nick Grace. Now owned and operated by his son Richard Grace in tribute to Nicks dedication and skills.

First time I've pulled nearly 3G for about 5 seconds in an aircraft, I think it would make anyone feel a bit queasy the first time, the victory roll was easy enough though, and to whole 30 minute flight was an experience to behold.
