Good work Rockboy, thanks for your contribution. I'd like to add that after disconnecting the battery, it is a good idea to de-pressurize the fuel system. The Schraeder valve (similar to a tire valve) is located in the front right corner of the fuel rail, which is located directly on top of the engine. The engine cover must be removed to access the fuel rail, no bolts, just yank the cover out. A small screwdriver and a catch container is all that's needed to drain the fuel rail and relieve all of the pressure.

Dude, I gotta tell ya... Your video helped me save hundreds of dollars by being thrifty and replacing my 1999 MB ML320's Fuel Pump with a used one. On a very tight budget, so I had to do what I had to do. Had 4 computer codes, went to the basics and VOILA! Much obliged. Thanks! :)
