Hey Richard, I found this guide and absolutely love it. However I often struggle to translate an infantry scheme over to vehicles. Contemptors are fine but tanks and flyers are more challenging because of all the harsh angles. Would doing a guide for how to ‘scale-up’ a scheme be something you would consider doing?

Just to say thanks so much for this video! I have started painting some Blood Angels with it, and absolutely love it - think it's one of the only schemes I have found that replicates the lovely deep, rich red they are sometimes presented as. As an observation, I've found the stripling gives an almost airbrush-like effect at the end. While the contrast wash gives an almost oils-like effect! So this is ideal for someone like me who is too lazy to either airbrush or use oils! So thanks so much, you have saved me a lot of time and effort!

Just need to have a go at the battle damage and he's done. Also just used Agrax instead of the contrast paint as I didn't have any of that one lying about. I'm sure I'll get better once the other 19 squadmates are done though..

Wonderful video with an amazing result. I don't use airbrushes and tend to avoid using oils and this is exactly the sort of channel and video I'd expect. I see lots of other content creators from the community using far too wide a variety of tools and paints to achieve their effects and not all of us have a wall of a thousand paints and all the tools needed to achieve the same degree of results that they do. This is a fantastic, grimdark, worn looking addition to any army and has SO much character compared to the rather flat looking standard GW tutorials and has won you a sub from me. I know this video is several weeks old now and I just recently watched your Imp-fists video using similar techniques. Would love to see the 'other side' of the box set. Any chance of a Sons of Horus video to follow up? I've been a life long loyalist- but dipped my toe into the heretic pool for this release and would love to create an army of the Sons with a similar aesthetic and level of quality. I think it would look amazing on a shelf or on any table. Not expecting a response of course, but letting you know what I personally would love to see! Top class videos and will be recommending to everyone in the hobby that I know!

I quite prefer this finish compared to the chalkiness I often end up with while drybrushing (even with a damp brush). Do you reckon this kind of stippling would work with lighter greys on a grey primer, finished off with oils for a "white" armour?
