Hey Josh and the rest of the Arc team. I absolutely love Arc and am using it everywhere I go. I understand that with your Swift-everywhere approach, Android might be hard, but not having at least some way to sync my tabs over to Android affects me daily. Global mobile market share says that Android is the dominant mobile platform, so not having any support there will really constrain your growth. And the tension here will grow exponentially when you put out the Windows release

I think it would be a good opportunity for this company to do what even chrome is struggling to do that is to create a seamless transition between all the devices on which you use ARC. So for example some of the features such as the saved tabs, or spaces, can really be a gamechanger when it comes to communication between android and windows.

The easiness to set spaces for your personal, work, and side job is the main thing I told people the plus point of Arc. The other thing the immersiveness since Arc could make you feel like using a native app with the sidebar hidden without having to download the real app Usually I switch back to Chrome after 1 month trying new browser, but it's a solid 4-5 months now with Arc. I love Arc my few reservations are that sometimes the page does not display correctly even thought I thought it was Chromium under the hood there must be some differences sometimes. But a particular aspect I struggle with is the lack of a page loading bar in dev mode and not being able to refresh the page without using the keyboard shortcut apparently? Otherwise love the fact spaces can be set (an improvement to this would be to actually separate the signed in sessions between spaces so that we can log into different accounts) and another feature is clearing tabs by itself, really needed. A really good nice to have that I use a lot is side by side views. Thanks for the hard work you've been putting on it 🙏

I usually say this: It let you create different spaces with different accounts and histories, one for my company, one for my podcast and one for my daily use and I don't need to log in and log out from each account plus, the attention of small details is insane. But if I have to be honest I don't think that Arc solves the problem of the tabs. I still have a lot of tabs opened and the vertical layout does not help me either, I'd like to have small previews instead favicons and titles that most of the time don't help me to understand if I need that opened tab anymore

I really hope you end up porting it to Linux and Android. It seems to me that, even with just Windows, porting Arc to a different language and toolkit (maybe Kotlin and QT like many apps or GTK like most browsers) would be easier than porting Swift to Windows in an actually stable way, and that would also allow for a much easier transition to other platforms. Vertical tabs in browsers like Firefox are really nice, but Arc seems to add some really nice extra features.

Okay I'm sorry for the inconvenience, I am not a native English speaker, what do you mean by 'big pass', I mean do you like it or not... Because in smash or pass you say smash when you like something and you say pass when you don't like something...

Just downloaded Arc and first impressions, so far so good. It is unique in its approach. A bit of fresh air from all the current browsers that just look the same old same old and feel old!!

This browser looks really cool! It's a shame it's not coming to Linux or Android (as those are the main operating systems I use), and the Windows release is far out. All of the features seem really cool, I just don't own any, and will never own any Apple products (I like that Linux and Android are more open, and I need powerful graphics hardware for my work, which Apple doesn't offer). I'll keeo following this project, but I'm afraid if it doesn't come to Android or Linux, I'm going to have to keep using Firefox.

This randomly popped up in my suggested watches and... I would be hype to upgrade once it's across more platforms. I would also love some sort of key feature guide, even if it's tiktoks or shorts just showing how to best optimize the browser...

I think he is struggling to explain what’s great about Arc is because the use cases for Arc are not readily apparent. I’ve tried Arc for a few hours and found that the adjustment time to be too high. My biggest issue with Arc is that its trying to completely overhaul how we use a browser. I would have preferred it if all the new features were built on top of a traditional browser experience and I hope that The Browser company takes that into consideration. Without an initial sense of familiarity I think only the most hardcore or niche users will put in the time to adjust to Arc. It has some neat features but Marques’ comments about theft of unprotected features makes a lot of sense. It won’t be long before people try to take what makes Arc unique and build extensions that reproduce those features in Chrome.

i've tried since i saw rhis video and i'm kind falling in love with it. it is weird but is all a ux designer desire. is so cleanl, organized. I wish the tabs you mark as favorite stay in that page instead of the last page you visited from that pinned page. But I see this is really great!

I really hope that you release an app for iPhone and android, and one for iPad, and like every device. I think it’s important to use the same browser everywhere. Maybe implement AI into it aswell as that is trending quite a lot right now

My 3 favorite features of Arc: 1. Pinned tabs have their own home/anchor URL that you can easily hop back to 2. PiP that automatically opens can you navigate away from a playing video 3. Walled-garden style profiles that you can isolate in separate spaces. There is already so much power in organization with the spaces concept, and having separate profiles increases that by an order of magnitude.

You guys are just great, the day a friend of mine invited me to arc was the day i abandoned my own operating system hahaha. I do EVERYTHING in arc now, even using webapps like whatsapp and discord in it over their native applications. And the improvements over the last few updates are noticeable, its like getting a new app everytime you update it. Thanks for everything you do, and there is no doubt about that arc will one day basically replace every single browser out there.

I switched to Arc Browser recently and it is amazing! ARC DELIVERS!!!! In the welcome email they did say there goal was to make internet a magical place like we felt in childhood. They've done it. With that they have brought so many features to stop tab overload and this rough mechanical feeling of browsing internet. And you have had the decency and thought to include us, the very first users as a part of developers in ARC journey. Thank You and more power to you guys. Don't let tech giants eat and gulp you.
