Um, no. Have you seen any of his other vids? He can set world records and make commentary at the same time. The very best players have that amazing ability. He did it when doing a hand tutorial on N64 Rainbow Road. Watch Kosmicd12 set world record speed runs of Mario Bros. He talks a lot during his runs.

worldsboss NISC = No item shortcut. At the end of lap 3, you can hop in the off-road and hop over the gap. It saves like .3, yet it isn't really consistent.

How low can you go now?

At the end of lap 3, just before the last turn, there's a NISC on the right that can be taken that goes almost directly to the finish line. It's similar to the NISC in Mute City and Shy Guy Falls, where you hop over the rough on the right after charging a MT and then trick. The one on grumble volcano is pretty difficult, so Kyle skipped it since he could get the WR without the risk. It's also hard to practice since the NISC only appears on the last lap. The current WR utilizes that short cut, and it's quite impressive, IMO.
