I wasn’t able to get live footage since the video file got corrupted, so I had to resort to a ghost replay and sync it up with my handcam.
This is Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U, not Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Switch. I wanted to come back to the older version of the game for nostalgic reasons. I ended up beating a 1000 day WR through optimizing my driving while using some new strategies (extra hop on the boost ramp nisc and extra hop on the straightaway before the glider). I hope to improve this WR even more considering that I have so much potential to push this time lower.
Yes, that is a rubberbanded 1x4 lego piece holding the 2 button. It lessens hand cramps for me, and it allows me to focus more on my fire hops and demon slides. It’s a pretty cool innovation!

It's easier and also cuz u drift with the 1 button when u play with the Wii Mote.

It’s been a long time, but if I recall correctly, there were some allegations regarding that Miguel cheated in like 2015 / early 2016. Nothing that was really proven physically I think, but apparently some messages had him admit to it. Fast forward to late 2016 / early 2017, he obtained a lot of wrs in courses like rYV and dBB. However, the previous allegations made them invalid, and to this day the wrs are invalid for messages he sent in 2015 and early 2016. No one really wants to get into the situation because it causes a lot of controversy, but since you’ve asked, I’m more than happy to give you an answer.

No, it's the Wii U version of the game, not the switch, so he'd normally be able to use a Wiimote to play the game
not that good really seen 100 times better
