We're back!!! the mk1 golf cabriolet is back from paint so in this video we bring you up to speed on the current state of affairs, reveal the paint colour and most importantly Carl is back to fit the new hood on to our freshly repaired hood frame.

Do you remeber the tickness and widenes of spounge installed on front and back of top ?

Carl provided all the materials so I don't know the exact dimensions, but looking the video it looks to be about 3" wide and about 1/4" thick

How much did the new hood cost?

The cost is always going to vary dependant on the options taken up as well as the state of the existing hood, frame and rear window aperture. Have a look at the link in the description and get a quote from carl

@@could_try_harder yeah totally understand I was curious as to how much to expect as there are so many different options and fitters. Cheers. When's part 2 coming?
