Wish Netherealm would just stick with the same voice actors. It’s annoying how many voice actors they change from game to game. I think the voices of mk11 are great and I really hope they don’t switch out most of them in the next game

Well the thing is they not only voice the characters , they give them their likeness now. So unless MK12 keeps the same faces for every characters , you can expect new faces and new voices

The hardest choice is Kano. MKX's raspy voice is more similar to the movie but I just love Blanc's menacing tone

Scorpion - Patrick Seitz is THE voice of Scorpion, though Ron Yuan did a good job, Seitz just gives the character more fire and passion. Frost - Sara Cravens, mostly just due to the sample size, Frost had 2 lines in MKX, hard to give a real comparison. Fujin - Matthew Yang King - Big improvement from MKX where Fujin sounded too generic Kung Lao - Both are good are representing the age that the character is in their respective games. Lee is good for old Kung Lao, while Malhotra is good for young Kung Lao. Malhotra also does a better job of conveying the superiority complex that Lao has. Liu Kang - Once again, I think both are good for the age that the character is. Choi for older Liu Kang, King for younger. I think I give Choi the slight nod since he was also the VA in MK9, and I'm just kind of used to his voice for Liu Kang. Kitana - Karen Straussmen I think has the perfect voice for Kitana. Kitana is an Outworld princess, she needs to have some brutality or harshness to her voice. Walgren is a damn good VA, but I'm not the biggest fan of her softer Kitana. Sindel - Mara Junot I think hit this role out of the park, she did a fantastic job. I love Kelly Hu as a voice actress and she does alright here as Sindel, but Junot really took it to the next level. Jax - Similar to Kung Lao, I think both VAs are great for the age the character in their respective games. Eagles (and Weathers) is an awesome old Jax, while Stephens is a great young Jax. I personally slightly prefer Eagles, but both do a good job here. Jacqui Briggs - Personally prefer Nicolet's version to Echikunwoke, MKX's version of Jacqui is more believably military, both in look and in personality. However, both VAs did well overall. Cassie Cage - Personally prefer Burch to Lindbeck here, largely because MK11 Cassie sound YOUNGER than MKX's, which doesn't make sense. Also similar to Jacqui, Burch's character looks and sounds more military. Overall, however, both VAs did very well here as well. Sonya Blade - Tricia Helfer by a landslide. Kano - Tough to choose on this one, I really like McConnohie's voice as an older Kano and Blanc's as a younger one. Both are very good, but personally there's just something about McConnohie's take on the character that I like more. Blanc does make the Aussie come out more, however. Really tough choice on this one.

Most of mk11 characters voices sound like what they look like for the most part. Still preferred mkx Jax and Scorpion and Carl Weathers voicing Jax too, but that is just my personal opinion not to mention their newer voices sound exactly just like their newer design would say like.

everytime I hear Kung Lao's voice lines, I always think of Wei Shen from Sleeping Dogs (Will Yun Lee is also the VA for Wei Shen). Both VA's for Kitana are also VA's for characters in Skyrim. Also MK 11's VA voices Misty from Cyberpunk

It sucks seeing some voice actors go, but seeing the characters have more traditional voices relating to their nationalities is cool. Sonya still sucks however, I’m sorry

MKX's Kano did alright but as an Aussie, there's just something about JB Blanc's version that he just GETS the character. Like, he dialed the bogan-ness up to 11.

A lot of people still hate Rousey. I never hated her but did feel she needed her ego cut down; which of course happened. I don't care now. I too think she did a fine job. Side note, you have probably seen the new skins that just came out. Glad they brought Bridget Wilson back to voice Sonya.

Ashly Burch Cassie is the superior Cassie. She went from cocky, snarky badass in MKX to the most stereotypical valley-girl Millennial ever in MK11

Karen and Kari were both phenomenal as Kitana but Karen will always be Mileena.

I grew up playing Diablo, Starcraft, and Legacy of Kain games. The voice acting in mk11 isn't too bad and some is fantastic, but the earlier games sounded terrible in comparison. Those blizzard and Crystal Dynamics games and others like the KotR entries that I've heard the clips of but not played are also top notch. Mk11 Jax is GREAT, totally fits the character but I haven't seen anyone else mention him, maybe it's just me. Of course Keith David makes them all sound amateur by comparison.

Kari is a great VA, but I dont like her as Kitana, especially Mileena. I like how Grey DeLisle voiced Kitana in MK Legends battle of the realms. I'd much prefer her to voice Kitana and Mileena in future MK games. I loved Karen too, but I dont know if shes coming back.

JB Blanc/Kano in MK11 is the best Kano voice. MK11 Sonya not my thing... my guess is Tricia Helfer became too expensive for them, since she's famous for her voice acting, especially in games (voice of Kerrigan).
